since ive moved bk in with my mum from loseing my place n shit i was rutein round in the loft for my old shit and came across a bible, but its cool check this

Its from 1864
addressd to a lady as a birthday present
and whats even freakin rarer its got DEATH CARDS init dateing from 1864 of all the people that had died from this persons family over 50 years man theres loads!
they are printed on realy old card with old skool print with christian pictorials on the front and on the back its got the date, the place and time of funeral some have some info on the person that died like when they died.
but theres young babies, i discoverd that a baby had died and her mother died 3 months later..
poor lass but thers loads on em and its mine cus it was my dads :flop:

I am curious, however, to be honest, I do not come here to see human beings made to look alive while dead "as they did back then" especially if there are dead babies involved.

If I could give advice to you on this, I would say this...

Most likely the last thing that I would want should I have died in the 1860s, would be to have my image put up on the internet for grim fascination by people in most cases who are not capable of respect or even understand what true loss means and does.

Please do not post them, there yours, treat them with the respect you would if it was your immediate family in those pics.

Of course, its your call, I am only trying to give an opinion.

Also I am sorry to hear about your home, hope things work out man.

My mistake man, I think you understand what I thought they were. They were very common in the old west and were a way of documenting it.

As far as the pics and respect goes, I wouldn't wish for mine to be put out there, but in 160 years, I guess it wouldn't hurt my feelings.

I do think it is fascinating. It's somehow a morbid reflection on myself. The passing of my invincible youth, and the realization of just how fragile and fleeting life is.
