Nazi 3D Films Found

by Mark Humphreys on Feb 16, 2011

As if the Nazi film propaganda machine wasn’t frightening enough, reports have it that two 30-minute 3D films shot by Third Reich propagandists in 1936 have just been discovered. The two films, entitled So Real You Can Touch It and Six Girls Roll Into Weekend, were discovered by an Australian filmmaker named Philippe Mora during a research expedition for a new documentary called How the Third Reich was Recorded.

The first film, So Real You Can Touch It, included some juicy 3D shots of barbequed bratwurst sausages, while the second film, Six Girls Roll Into Weekend (what a title for a Nazi film), is believed to have featured actors who in all likelihood were stars from Germany’s number one wartime studio, Universum Film (a studio whose name is too frighteningly similar to that of a certain Hollywood studio).
