Today I made a garden for growing corn and wild mushrooms. I have a good feeling that I'm going to get some active mushrooms growing in there between now and the first frost. There are at least two types of active mushrooms that grow in horse poo. One of them starts to fruit right about now when the temperature hovers around 80 degrees and 100% humidity. The other type of mushroom starts to grow in the fall time with the rest of the active mushrooms.

This is my documentation of the process of growing and indulging with the fruit of the gods!
I will update you with pictures as things start to grow. This is what our ancient ancestors used to do, I am merly picking up where they left off. I hope you enjoy this expirience and kids...Don't try this at home!

The mycellium has to be established before you get any fruiting bodies, sorry if that has popped your bubble for this year. Definitely worthwhile though and in a year or so.. who knows :)

Godamn, learn about spore drop patterns at least, please.
TEST, TEST AND THEN TEST AGAIN BEFORE EATING.

ffs.

cheers..and oh yeah...
test those lil motherfuckers before you eat them.

That is unless you have friends willing to donate portions of your liver
and you have $100,000 laying around for the cost of a transplant.

Several VERY similar looking varieties, (here in texas at least)
love to eat them some liver with farva beans...th..th...th...th....@!

The mycellium cultivation process is not as difficult as it seems. First, if he already has the spores than he just need to annaculate them and be sure to make sure they are getting the proper co2 exchange, while staying at the needed humidity and temp.

Know what kind of strains you will expect to start pinning soon? :flop:

Yes the spores that are droped by the mushroom get eaten with the grass by the horses. The spores pass throught the horse and have a perfect enviroment to grow again when the conditions are right. I'm thinking I should see some Panaeolus Cinctulus in a month or so If I'm lucky. In the fall time I might get some Psilocybe fimetaria. They both grow wild in my area out of the horse poo.
