The country is in ruins. How can anyone think this is legit...

Published on Jun 6, 2014

The Syrian election does not need Western endorsement to be considered legitimate, it is the voices of Syrian people themselves that make the vote legitimate, President Assad's media advisor, Bouthaina Shaaban told RT.

There was an Australian citizen a few years ago that got extrodinary renditioned aka
illegally kidnapped by criminal War on terror global police who then tortured him and
left him to rot somewhere overseas, he came back to Australia after surviving somehow
and sued the Australian government.
He was secretly awarded millions of dollars as he was tortured by foriegners and Australia
and the useless globalist zio loving queen did nothing.
Maybe the queens moto should be that of david camerons, I am a zionist.

Australian Security Agencies Target "SyrianGirl" Mimi Al-Laham

In the Orwellian world of post 9/11 hysteria and the Global War On Terror, speaking truth is a revolutionary act. Indeed, such is evidenced by the fact that speaking out against terrorism is now enough to cause you to be labeled as a supporter of terrorism. At least, that is, in certain instances.

This is particularly the case with Mimi Al-Laham, (aka SyrianGirl), a young Syrian woman who has been active on YouTube, social media, and her own website in speaking out about the Western-backed destabilization of Syria.

Laham has consistently denounced the death squads operating inside Syria as terrorists and agents of the West as well as identified the so-called rebellion as being nothing more than a Western – organized, funded, and directed campaign against the Syrian government , all documented fact. For more information on this topic, please see my book, The Road To Damascus, The Anglo-American Assault On Syria.

However, her statements against terrorism, beheadings, rapes, slavery, and wholesale slaughter have caused her to be labelled as a potential "extremist" and purveyor of "extremist rhetoric." For that reason, Australian security agencies have been closely monitoring Laham’s online statements and, presumably, much more than that.[/color]

Australian Institute of Criminology’s Shandon Harris-Hogan said that such statements and online behavior should be watched for “signs of an escalation in rhetoric or calls for violence” and that “When it crosses that line, particularly into encouraging, facilitating or preparing for violence, that's when it's going to particularly hit the radar of security services.”

Harris-Hogan also categorized Laham’s statements as anti-US and anti-Israel.

Of course, by “anti-US ,” Harris-Hogan means anti-imperialist and anti-terrorist. Anyone familiar with Laham’s work will know that she is not anti-American, although she opposes the United States’ involvement in Syrian affairs, the funding of savage terrorists to overthrow the secular government of Syria, and the numerous attempts at direct invasion.

As for being anti-Israel, such a position is entirely within reason, since Israel itself was never anything more than a false construction with political and geopolitical goals in mind from the very beginning. In 2014, however, being anti-Israel is equated with being anti-semitic, a cynical and inaccurate propaganda technique to prevent criticism of the settler state. Regardless, Laham has repeatedly opposed
anti-semitic views in her videos.

Still, Harris-Hogan stated that Laham had been monitored for 18 months.

Although not technically the “West,” Australia is every bit the Orwellian nightmare as the United States, Britain, and the rest of Europe. Indeed, only in the world of doublethink can one be accused of violent extremism by repeatedly denouncing it. The monitoring of Laham’s online work and political activism, while not surprising, is but one more example of the surveillance state and the crackdown on dissent worldwide

We can only hope that, if the Australian authorities continue to monitor Mimi Al-Laham’s work, that they learn something in the process.

Syrian girl is hot. I hope my useless zio bought and paid for representative government
doesn't try extraordinarily renditioning her overseas for rapings under the guise

The nwo zio's in washington want to curb free speech in America and therefore all western

The zio controlled Australian security services must be having a tough time pinning
terrorism on syrian girl afterall she is just talking about who is backing and arming
these criminals and we know the terrorists are from Saudi arabia and turkey and every
other western friendly regime.

You can see whats going to happen in the future, all media critical of government will
need to have a permit authorized by the government.
This especially will happen in america soon as we know the early signs to free speech
being curbed are already on the drawing board.

Friday, 18 July 2014

A Syrian monitoring group said Friday at least 270 people have been killed after fighters belonging to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria seized a gas field in central Syria.

ISIS fighters on Thursday morning attacked the Shaar gas field, east of the ancient site of Palmyra.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 23 guards were killed by ISIS as of Thursday.

More causalities were reported on Friday.

“The fate of 340 National Defence Force (paramilitary) members, guards, engineers and employees who were in the field, is unknown, as they were either taken prisoner, wounded or captured during the operation,” said Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman, as quoted by Agence France-Presse.

The operation, he added, was ISIS’ “most important so far against the government” of Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad.

Abu Bilal, an activist linked to ISIS in Homs province, also reported the attack.

Twelve members of ISIS had been slain in the fighting, he said, adding that “dozens” were killed on the government side.

“There was a martyrdom (suicide) attack, and we took eight checkpoints before taking over the gas field,” Abu Bilal said via the Internet.

Homs governor Talal Barazi also confirmed the attack.

“Armed men took control on Wednesday evening of the gas field, and we have lost contact with three technicians who were on the site,” Barazi told AFP.

“The armed men were present in the area beforehand, but they have now expanded their area of control with this new operation,” he said.

“The army is trying to take it back. There is fighting in the area and government air strikes.”

ISIS, which proclaimed a “caliphate” straddling Syria and Iraq last month, has in recent weeks taken over the entire countryside of oil-rich Deir Ezzor province.

Deir Ezzor borders Homs province as well as Iraq, where the jihadist group has spearheaded a major Sunni militant offensive that has seen large swathes of territory fall out of the Iraqi government’s control.

While Iraq burns, Isis takes advantage in Syria
By Michael Stephens & Sofia Barbarani Director, RUSI Qatar & Freelance journalist, Irbil

Image

The Islamic State (Isis) may be many things, but foolish is not one of them.

While international attention has been fixated on the disintegration of Iraq and the expansion of the so-called caliphate of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the Sunni insurgents have moved their offensive back into Syria with a newly acquired haul of US-made weapons and cash.

Cushioned by the impunity offered them by a largely unresponsive international community, and the inability of the Syrian and Iraqi armies to defeat them in battle, Isis' latest advances in Syria have further destabilised the already frail dynamics in the region.

As Bashar al-Assad attended his de-facto self-coronation affording him another seven years in power, Isis was making a mockery of the president's pledge to "not stop fighting terrorism and striking it wherever it is until we restore security to every spot of Syria".

In addition to Isis, Syria's Kurds have also been busy establishing their own cantons of self-governance, backed by their militia force, the People's Protection Units (YPG). But as their control over Kurdish areas of Syria has strengthened, it has brought them into fierce conflict with Isis.
Upgrade in firepower

While in neighbouring Iraq the Kurdistan Region remains largely insulated from Isis' violent land-grabbing operations, Syria's approximately two million Kurds have borne the brunt of the expanding "caliphate" declared at the end of June.

On 2 July, Isis fighters targeted villages west of Kobane in Aleppo province.

Image

A Kurdish-majority region, Kobane was captured by the YPG in July 2012 and subsequently declared an autonomous canton by the Democratic Unity Party (PYD).

While this is not the first time Isis has attempted to assimilate Kobane into the territory under its control, having threatened to do so in March, the ongoing attacks are notable for the stark upgrade in firepower used by Isis against the Kurdish forces.

In a symbolic show of the new regional realities since the capture of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul last month, Isis has made use of the weapons it seized from the Iraqi army in its successful takeover of large swathes of the country, including an estimated 1,500 Humvees, some armed with TOW missiles, howitzers, and precision-guided weaponry.

"The attacks from Isis have reached an acute level following their recent acquisition of heavy artillery," warned the presidency of the three Syrian Kurdish cantons.
'Chemical weapon'

While the YPG claims that Isis used chemical agents in its recent attacks on Kobane - allegedly seized at the Muthanna chemical weapons facility near Baghdad - legitimacy of the photographic and medical evidence provided by Kurdish forces has yet to be confirmed by international players.

The US also downplayed Isis' takeover of the Muthanna facility on 8 July, claiming the weapons were no longer intact and would be impossible to use.

"Chemical weapons have been used, we have taken samples for testing in Diyarbakir. It is some kind of… chemical weapon but we are not sure exactly," said the leader of the PYD, Salih Muslim.

Image

YPG spokesperson Redur Xalil called on the international community to "intervene immediately and carry out their duty toward Kobane", in a bid to alert the world of the unspoken battle that is being waged against Syria's Kurds.

The sharp upswing in fighting in Syria is a cause for alarm, particularly in neighbouring Turkey, which has cause to worry about the increasing militarization of Kurdish areas, as the YPG struggles to fight an emboldened Isis.

"We know that some 300-400 Turkish Kurds are fighting with us in Syria against Isis," said Mr Muslim. "It is very difficult. We are short on weapons and our rocket-propelled grenades are not effective against [Isis'] tanks."

Turkey is faced with a conundrum whereby the PYD - which is closely linked to Turkey's decades-old enemy, the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) - is also preventing the militant Islamist force from destabilising its own border regions.

According to Turkey expert and associate fellow at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI,) Aaron Stein: "It is unclear as to what Turkey's policy is. The rise of Isis has been a game changer for them."

Image

"But I haven't yet seen evidence that Turkey supports Isis against the YPG. All evidence I have uncovered says they're not directly supporting them."

What Turkey decides will have a huge impact on the direction of the conflict in Syria.

None of the three major players - the Syrian regime, Isis, or the PYD - are particularly palatable to Ankara, but choices must be made.

It may be that Ankara must recognise the de facto break-up of Syria into three distinct governing structures, and preventing radicalisation of Kurds fighting Isis is its main security priority.

As the conflict in Syria heats up, fuelled by Iraq, Turkey may well find it plays a double game of supporting the Kurds but only just enough to ensure that they do not lose. Either way, more war will surely come.

It seems that a lot of the foreign-backed militants in Syria are becoming disillusioned and quitting. This could be a game changer as well.

Half of militants quit Aleppo battle: Report

Sat Jul 19, 2014 9:21AM GMT

Around half of the foreign-backed militants in the Syrian northwestern Aleppo Governorate have reportedly left the battlefield, as they have got disillusioned with the prospect of their anti-government campaign.

In a Friday report, Los Angeles Times cited Samir Zaitoun, a commander with Al Tawheed Brigade, a Syrian opposition group, as saying that nearly half the militants in Aleppo, mostly from small groups, have left over the last year.

"A lot of people left because it's taking so long; they thought it was going to be a matter of yelling 'God is great' twice in protest and a few hits and it would be over," Zaitoun said.

The Syrian army has been making more advances in recent months.

On July 13, the Syrian army recaptured parts of the eastern town of Mulayhah after about 100 days of heavy fighting with militants in the area.

Takfiri terrorists have recently stepped up their attacks against civilians as Syrian army soldiers have achieved major victories in their battle against the foreign-backed militants.

Syria has been gripped by deadly violence since March 2011. According to reports, the Western powers and their regional allies - especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey - are supporting the militants operating inside Syria.

According to some reports, around 170,000 people have been killed and millions of others displaced as a result of the foreign-sponsored violence.

Takfiris created to boost Israel's status in region: Analyst
Sat Jul 19, 2014 4:34PM GMT

The ongoing atrocities by the ISIL Takfiri militants in Iraq and Syria fall within the framework of a wider plan for protecting and bolstering Israel, an analyst tells Press TV.

“Whether it is attacks on Gaza or the destruction of the rest of the Middle East including these terrorists operating in Syria...the bottom line…is…the raising of it [Israel] up as an uncontested power…throughout the world,” Mark Glenn told Press TV in an interview.

Glenn was analyzing the ISIL Takfiri terrorists’ reported massacre of 270 Syrian security guards and employees in the central province of Homs.

Syria has been gripped by deadly violence since March 2011. According to reports, Western powers and their regional allies - especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey - are supporting the militants operating inside Syria.

Glenn said the ISIL’s savagery is a continuation of Israel’s long-time brutalities against beleaguered Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

“We need to just see what is going on in Syria as a mere extension of what is going on in Gaza, what is taking place in Iraq over the last twenty years and the book from...which this is being read...[is] known as Israel,” he said.

The crisis in Iraq escalated after the ISIL terrorists took control of Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city, in a lightning advance on June 10. The terrorists have since taken control of large chunks of Iraq.

The analyst said the US, Britain and Israel have been financing and arming the ISIL Takfiris whom he described as “wild animals.”

“This is not something that the United States or the West or Israel is going to give up on any time since they have invested too much in this,” said Glenn.

Israel is pushing ahead with its aggression on Palestinians in Gaza. At least, 340 people are confirmed dead and nearly 2,400 more injured since Tel Aviv unleashed its offensive 12 days ago.

See video transcript here:

http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2014/07/19 ... el-status/

Certainly makes sense, considering these terrorists have yet to attack Israel.
