Residents Flee Christchurch Harbor As New Boiling Hot Springs & Strong SULFUR Smell envelope the town

:scary: :scary: :scary: :scary: :scary: :scary:

9 Mar 11 - From a concerned reader.

A friend of mine went canoeing in Lyttelton harbour recently with a companion who had lived in Lyttelton for years. he told me his companion took him to a new hot spring which had formed in the area of Cass Bay, after the Sept 2010 quake series began. It had not been there before. I have read a recent report saying that not only are there many hot springs that have "popped" up in the peninsula.. some of them are now boiling.

My daughter works at a local service station and today served a family fleeing from Lyttelton. Their house was not damaged in either the september or february quake but they chose to leave today because the stench of sulphur emanating from the harbour area is totally unbearable. The woman said the navy and army are combing the area with geological survey tools. She is fleeing for her families life, sure that the volcano is becoming active.

One doesnt have to be a geologist to connect the dots. I think that the volcano is indeed rumbling. Ruaumoko is coming to life. My only hope is that the authorities do the right thing and evacuate the area before many more lives are lost.

I am attaching a pdf file which shows that geologists have been aware of and monitoring warm springs that have begun popping up in the christchurch for the past 25 years. The government and geologists cannot claim "no knowledge" of this. The published study shows this. Interestingly this publication in now very hard to find on the internet.. it was relatively easy to find up until two weeks ago.. makes one wonder why??

I had a vision some months ago of the whole Christchurch area being consumed by an enormous explosion of fire which could be seen clearly at night from over 100 km away. The vision is still firmly stuck in my mind.

I hope your website will continue to highlight the very real danger in Christchurch to people so that they can research for themselves and do all they can to keep their friends and families safe.

Kind regards
Barbara

New boiling hot springs near Christchurch?
Sulphur emanating from the harbour area?

Can any Christchurch or Lyttelton residents confirm these statements?

If Barbara is correct - if water temperatures are now rising - I think that's something the residents should be made aware of so they can make their own decisions.

The article that Barbara refers to is from the New Zealand Journal of Geology and Geophysics.

Entitled "Hydrogeological implications of geology at the boundary of Banks Peninsula volcanic rock aquifers and Canterbury Plains fluvial gravel aquifers," it describes warm groundwater flows from springs encountered on the coastal Canterbury Plains adjacent to Banks Peninsula, from the Christchurch suburb of Ferrymead to Ataahua by Lake Ellesmere and in Lyttelton Harbour .

Published in 1994, the article says that "Warm spring temperatures over the last 100 years show that there have been no significant changes in water temperature."

In Māori mythology, Ruaumoko (also known as Ruamoko) is the youngest son of Rangi and Papa, god of volcanoes and seasons. He has never been born and remains inside his mother's womb. His movements are considered the cause of earthquakes. These earthquakes in turn are responsible for the change of seasons. Depending on the time of year, the earthquakes cause the warmth, or cold, of Mother Earth to come to the surface of the land, resulting in the warming, or cooling of the Earth.[1]

In other forms of Māori mythology, Ruaumoko was born and clung to Mother Papa's breast until he fell into the Underworld. There, when he walked he created earthquakes in the upper-world. He is also known as husband of Hine Titama', the goddess of death and a daughter of Tāne.

I live in Diamond Harbour, opposite Lyttelton on the harbour basin...there is no smell of sulphur and no one in Lyttleton is noicing any smell of sulphur either...considering the fact that that study was SUPPOSEDLY published in 1994 and no one has noiced or been talking about sulphur smells now and for the last 17 years I would say that this is yet another BS piece..if there was a smell of sulphur in this area EVERYONE would hear about it as New Zealanders are very vigilant about volcanic and earthquake activity
I strongly advise people to question anything that "savwafair" posts ..as he seems intent on posting anything that assist on aligning people to a very negative 2012 timeline..why does he continue to post earthquakes and other earthchanging events in the 2012 forum thread?,,,don't they belong in another thread.."news and world events" would be a good one..conciously or unconciously he is being drawn in to the negative 2012 timeline..don't join him...scroll down the titles of the posts in this "2012" forum thread and see how "savwafair" is focusing on things
