Unreal, Real..... Nice find man, its not to common to find such footage, I wonder how far off the coast they were.
I know the voices in my head aren't real, but man, sometimes they have some really good ideas.

thats exactly what I was wondering...

im assuming they must have been at least a mile or two if not more out?? it looks like that was a 10-15 ft swell... u figure 35 ft wave when it hit land so the depth of water they were it was probably 20 or so feet... and japan does have a continental shelf so shallow water can extend pretty far from the coast....

incredible...that is some crazy shit. They were in a better position than some of the fishing boats close to the shore fighting to get out.

Wow. What a video. My stomach sort of rose and fell with the ship- felt a little green. Man, the power of the ocean scares the crap outta me. I love it, but dam, I never want to be around for anything like that. Thanks for posting, rof.

When a trained member of any Coast Guard at ANY point on camera, while out at sea, goes UhhhhHHHHHHHhhhh....You have to know that is a massive friggin swell.

It was probably these very men that helped to get some small warning to the shore that this was about to devastate their lives and cause such enormous chaos.
