The right question to ask would be why the airlines, after knowing he had no passport, which is required for an international flight, brought him to a back room with his apparently well dressed partner who was filming everything (eyewitness accounts), let him on that plane ANYWAY?
Looking at the facts, that kid getting on that plane makes no sense whatsoever. Even my 13 yo nephew who was visiting for the holidays saw that it was horseshit! First thing I said to him when we saw it on the news was "here come the new scanners!" Now, that's all you hear about on the news, "would these new scanners work, etc."
It wasn't long ago AT ALL that we were discussing those scanners on this forum when they were made public. My question to you all is, how many of you also had the thought of these new scanners making their way into airports after hearing of this incident?
Judging by the responses I've seen so far, I'd be daring enough to say that very few of you did. If I am right, then that is simply pathetic.
Please, tell me more of you had the same reaction as I...
snutz , you are interpreting this the wrong way , check tim other posts to understand what
this is about ,it got nothing to do with the topic name .
