Spread far and wide, especially if you are American where most of the world's gmo's are based.
No seeds, no independent research

Companies that genetically engineer crops have a lock on what we know about their safety and benefits.
We don't have the complete picture. That's no accident. Multibillion-dollar agricultural corporations, including Monsanto and Syngenta, have restricted independent research on their genetically engineered crops. They have often refused to provide independent scientists with seeds, or they've set restrictive conditions that severely limit research options.

We have an interesting legal battle over here about an organic farmer who lost his organic accreditation due to seeds from a neighbors GM crop blowing on to his land. It will be interesting to see the eventual outcome.
As a side note, every couple of years I purchase a new batch of heirloom seeds that would be required for self sustainability. It never hurts to be prepared and the cost is very little in real terms.

Yes mate, totally agree with the heirloom seeds, who wants gold when you can have seed.
Can you eat gold ? I'd rather have a ton of seed than a ton of gold.
On a less serious note i'd have thought with a name like Frankenstein you would have been pro GM ?

Of course they do not want independent research done of their seeds and crops. The studies would show what common sense has told us all along. The GMO's are bigger, have better color, thicker skins to survive transport ect..ect...a corporate farmer's dream come true......
However.....The studies would also show that these GMO's contain less than half of the nutritional content of it's un-modified sire and the chemicals involved in producing them have unknown side effects that we may not be able to detect in humans for years.....

Take it easy...and if its easy...take it twice!!

ewe're , nice ,
The fact that any company can hold a patent on NATURE is deplorable. Sure, they changed it and modified it but where have we heard this argument before?
Ahhh, I am a gamer, and have made pc games in the past. Even modded a few games.
Here is how that works.
A major game company (Nature/God) makes a game (seed) and puts it out there for the public. Yes, they charge for the game but we are dealing with the legalities for now.
Now, a group of modders (Monsanto, Syngenta) decides they want to change up the game ( modified seed) and make it more of a total conversion mod (engineered food).
This is all fine and dandy until the modders decide they are going to claim sole rights on their conversion game (engineered food) and claim the game engine (Nature/God) as their own.
This is what happens when we do not regulate what companys and corporations do. When we allow them to pass law as if they were legislative branches and then before we know it, the original game is never to be played again and if you try, you can be held accountable for infringing on their modified game (engineered food)

Nihil Sine Fide!
Thanks guys, AGAIN.. it does'nt take a rocket scientist or any scientist for that matter to figure out that gmo's should not exist and cannot ever best serve the food needs of mankind and also the environmental cost will be huge. Again common sense logic as to how nature works, which is in harmony, things unmodifed ... working with nature not against would be in mankind's best interests, gmo's are anti-god if you will, but hey that's the whole point to the agenda, everything 'they' do seems to be.

Hey Jones, good post as always...
Ate two of these yesterday >
Straight afterwards my throat was ripped apart, felt like someone had been at it with razors...
Anyway I looked at the back of the wrapper and I didn't realize Glaxosmithkline owned Ribena
Woke up and it was still screwed, took most of today to get it back to normal.
I'm gonna wait a day and try and eat another two at once to see if I get the same result, lol (I brought 2 packs, so it will be a totally different pack...)
Masochist as Low says lol
