1/30/2012 -- Nuclear plant vents RADIOACTIVE steam onto DOWNTOWN CHICAGO
by dutchsinse on Jan 30, 2012
If you were outside today in Downtown Chicago -- Any time after about 1030am CST -- 1/30/2012 -- you were exposed to some amounts of NUCLEAR RADIOACTIVE FALLOUT from the steam laced with TRITIUM that was vented by the Byron Illinois / Exelon Nuclear power plant.
Here is the full story:

Also I have assembled dozens of radiation monitoring links (click the above)...
I'd like to remind everyone that there are NO "good" levels of radioactive particulates... before anyone tells me it was "safe levels".. I'd like them to go stand near those "safe levels" for a while and get back to me on their assessment.
If you live in Chicago -- you DESERVE TO KNOW THE TRUTH !
I have also included information on Tritium at the above link.

I'm not near down town.
I wasn't outside either.
I just seen the preview from the local news about this. For the news at 9.
lol I go to my girlfriend, "Oh great".

I just watched the video, I guess it didn't even matter if you were downtown.
It blew all through out the suburbs and towards the city.
I'm in the suburbs. I'm west of the city. Byron is waaaay west. I maybe heard of that town twice.
I was inside all day today. My son was outside for about 15 minutes with his mom at like 4pm. She was at work all day before that.
Pretty crazy. I'll see what the news says in 20 minutes.

I always thought these power plants had backup power that took seconds to change over. Makes a person start wondering what is the truth.

I'm watching the local Chicago Fox news and they're pretty much saying the same thing.
They are saying there was radioactive tritium in the steam and they're saying the levels are too low for anyone to worry.

The reporters are asking for a number on how much tritium was in the steam.
They don't have a number yet they said, just saying it's low.
And that's pretty much it. Talked about it for 4 minutes.
That's all we know. No numbers.

I smell a corporate cover up especially when they don't give numbers it's hard to believe they don't already know.. It seems it doesn't matter if I was downtown today or not as I seem to have gotten a dose along with my morning cigarette.
