Aside from the obvious (oil destroying the oceans), it sounds like this will bring bad news on many fronts:

*Toxic Air
*Toxic Rain/Hurricanes
*Toxic Tsunami
*Economic Collapse

No this does not sound good at all

At Home Depot, they sell these furnace filters with an activated charcoal layer for $8.99. I cut about 4" off the top and duct taped it to the backside of a regular boxfan. With the fan running on the low setting, I havent had to run my Ozone Generator (which I build for $25!!) all day. Check it out!
Im not sure if this is as effective as a $300 air scrubber, but it sure seems to be knocking out any odors eminating from my grow room.
You could probably do this even cheaper, with some Super77 spray adhesive, and a large supply of activated charcoal. Just spray a cheap ($1.99 or so) filter with adhesive, and then coat it with the activated carbon. Get a bunch of fans and put them all over the place...constant odor control.
