i have cast aluminium before,it will melt at a lower degree than most metals,ie you can melt it over your stove with enought time!!!dont quote me but i think its around 460-500dg it melts at?i cant remember,but i lknow its lower than bronze by about half or more,i have melted a alum pot on the stove b4 as well as lost wax casting in alum for sculpture.
