Kim Dot Com. Owner creator of the infamous Megaupload has recently posted images from his twitter account for the new improved and secure Megaupload 2.0.
The new images show off some of the sites new features including a highly secure 2048-bit encryption that will secure files sent to the servers. It will also feature cloud drives for ever user. Kim has vowed to reopen Megaupload on the anniversary of the FBI raid and shut down, which occurred January 19th 2012.
Megaupload was shut down early last year, when US Anti Piracy Advocates in league with federal authorities swooped on the Domains and address of Kim Dot Com in New Zealand when it was discovered that several of Megaupload servers were housed within the United States.
Ever since Kim and Co have proclaimed they will create the single greatest and most secure file share site on Earth, and so Megaupload 2.0 was spawned.
Kim and his employees are thought to have earned millions from Megaupload, Kim Dot Com especially, with an estimated 60 million earned over a short period of time.
Megaupload 2.0 (Not the official name by the way) is scheduled to open soon. No doubt piracy will be on the rise, and those charged with fighting it will find ever more cunning and manipulative ways to combat it.
Megaupload may well be hardest to fight along with ThePirateBay, just by the manner in which they now operate.
