The US military mission in Iraq is being renamed "Operation New Dawn" as of 1 September 2010. Given the implications of the phrase "Dawn of a New Day" by some quite prominent individuals with respect to the New World Order's agenda against humanity (e.g., Jordan Maxwell), I am wondering whether some of you would care to comment on this development?

how many names have they had?
:D

War in Iraq will be called 'Operation New Dawn' to reflect reduced U.S. role
The Obama administration has decided to give the war in Iraq a new name -- "Operation New Dawn" -- to reflect the reduced role U.S. troops will play in securing the country this year as troop levels fall, according to a memo from Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates.

Since U.S. forces charged across the Kuwaiti border toward Baghdad in 2003, the war has been known as Operation Iraqi Freedom. The new name is scheduled to take effect in September, when U.S. troop levels are supposed to drop to about 50,000.

The change is intended to send a message that the U.S. military's combat role in Iraq is rapidly drawing to a close. In the Feb. 17 memo, Gates wrote to Gen. David H. Petraeus, the top commander for the region, that the name change seeks to "recognize our evolving relationship with the Government of Iraq."

Operation Dawn 6 and 5
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Dawn_6
Operation Dawn 6 (Operatoin Valfajr-6 in Persian) was a military operation conducted by the forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran against the armed forces of Saddam Hussein's Iraq. It lasted from the 22nd to the 24th February 1984 and, along with Operation Dawn 5, it was part a larger operation to secure part of the Baghdad-Basra highway, thus cutting two of Iraq's most important cities from each other, and threatening the communications network suppling the Iraqi military on the front line. Operation Dawn V succeeded in capturing some high ground 15 miles from the highway, and Operation Dawn 6 was designed to exploit the Iranians' capture with a breakthrough towards the highway. However, the operation met an Iraqi defence which stood up to every attack, and the Iranians called off the attack after only two days. This led to Operation Khaibar, the re-focus of the Iranian offensive towards Basra directly.
