OPHIUCHUS - THE 13TH ZODIAC AND THE LOST SIGN

will preface this with stating that all of the below are simply my interpretations of the current state of affairs as seen through my eyes. With so much happening in and around us, it is oftentimes difficult to decipher with any clarity the signs that seem to be permeating our realities. The latest epiphany for me is the ‘lost’ 13th sign of the Zodiac, Ophiuchus.




Having never been versed in Astrology, other than the daily horoscope, down the rabbit hole I went once more. I kept thinking, why would this sign have been discounted or ignored? Ophiuchus is found very close to Scorpio. Most of Ophiuchus does not fall on the ecliptic (The intersection plane of the earth's orbit with the celestial sphere, along which the sun appears to move as viewed from the earth. - and yes I had to look up the definition to ‘ecliptic‘) Even the majority of the seasoned Astrologers, don’t subscribe to the 13th sign. There is a great message in the stars and if one is so inclined, it should be pondered. The period of time ruled by Ophiuchus is November 30th through December 17th and interestingly enough it is the only sign with no polar opposite. That should be a huge clue that this astrological sign was purposely removed and suppressed. This is where all the action is going to happen.

Ophiuchus is a large constellation located around the celestial equator. Its name is Greek for 'snake-holder', and it is commonly represented as a man grasping the snake that is represented by the constellation Serpens. Ophiuchus was one of the 48 constellations listed by the 2nd century astronomer Ptolemy, and it remains one of the 88 modern constellations. It was formerly referred to as Serpentarius a Latin word meaning the same as its current name.

RS Ophiuchi is part of a class called recurrent novae, whose brightness increase at irregular intervals by hundreds of times in a period of just a few days. It is thought to be at the brink of becoming a type-1a supernova.

The most recent interpretation is that the figure represents the healer Asclepius, who learned the secrets of keeping death at bay after observing one serpent bringing another healing herbs. To prevent the entire human race from becoming immortal under Asclepius' care, Zeus killed him with a bolt of lightning, but later placed his image in the heavens to honor his good works.

As you can see from this illustration, all 13 signs are placed on the Zodiac wheel. I disagree with the interpretation. The center is where Ophiuchus should be placed as this is where the heart is. I call this sign, ‘The Heart Sign’. This can be compared to the center of the Sator Square and defined as ‘The Fire’. This is where the Phoenix will rise and a re-birth will take place. This will happen to you and it will happen in the heavens and into infinity.

It is more than obvious from the illustration, that the spear surrounded by the coiled serpents is the same symbol as used in the medical profession. It also resembles our DNA strands, as well as the kundalini. Also, the Egyptian Ankh is present as an ancient symbol for eternal life. Above the Ankh you find the White Rose. Upon researching the meaning, the consensus was that this represents innocence and purity, secrecy. It also has been suggested that the pulverized rose is the secret to healing therefore placed along with Ophiuchus. It is the Heart. And of course we have the 5 pointed star which symbolizes the Venus transit taking place Jun 5-6, 2012, heralding in this new birth. Further up you can clearly see the Phoenix which symbolizes life being regenerated. The circle would be The Fire, the mind of the Creator - the Light - and the Light along with the Heart regenerating up to higher consciousness. The horns would symbolize The Crown as in Crown Chakra. The entire illustration as well resembles a scarab, known as an ancient symbol in Egypt representing spontaneous birth. So as you can see we have “the Heart of the Matter”.

And how does all this compare to the star map? You can see that this constellation is very close to the ecliptic. The reason it was removed from Astrology, they say, is that it was not close enough to the ecliptic to include it. On either side of Ophiuchus, you have the constellation, Serpens. This is the only constellation divided into 2 segments, being separate, yet one. Interesting concept. To the NW you have the Corona Borealis which is eerily similar to the horns on the illustration, signifying the head or crown. Then to the right of the Corona Borealis you will find Bootes, which to the south lies Arcturus. I read yesterday that Arcturus, is the location where some will go after the rebirth. And just to the right of Ophiuchus, is Hercules. HER-CLUES.

The date(s) of this event is no less than just speculative. While researching, I found a site which equated themselves with the Freemasons but they were not masons, and said that the numbers 14 and 17 figured prominently into their doctrine. I have been trying to gain an understanding of this. In addition, one has to take into consideration that the precessions through the years have completely changed the dates of the Houses of the Zodiac.

If RS Ophiuchi is on the verge of becoming a super nova, then this would supply all of the energy needed to fuel this event. Please also note the words ’Phi’ and ’Pi’ encoded into the name. Yet, in the end, we all must use our own discernment in contemplating the coming months and days. People are at different levels of understanding and whatever choices are made are always the right ones. The Heart is what is being talked of here. An event of the Heart - the Heart of man.

Ophiuchus is probably the most important sign in the Zodiac.

The sign is probably not suppressed but only comes into the play when one world ends and a new one begins, it is the healer or purifier.
And though it is called the thirteenth sign it is actually the sign in the middle, the seventh sign.
It is in a way double because it refers to the jump from one octave to another.
In the TaroT we see this in the signs of Jupiter and Juno that come into play now.
