hey,what are you doin to grab the moon and pleidies like that.i drawa blank when it comes to camera settings.just figuring out iso,lol
the max my cams shutter stays open is 15 secs.the pics i take with 1600 iso,turn out really well,just the moon is always to bright.looks cool,but not what i'm seeing when i'm taking the pic.sorry to sound like a tard,but you seem to have your lighting figured out.

I was shooting afocal (camera attached to a Meade ETX-70 telescope). It was at 1/5th of a second, ISO 1600, and the telescope's aperture is f/5.
A lot of it will have to do with how well your lens picks up glare inside the optics.

Hi fossileyesed,
I use just a small pocket camera from Casio exilim type Z25 the pictures has been made throug an eyepiece and a telescope ISO set on 800
This is a bit the setup only this is my big scope and not the Meade ETX-70 (2:08)
