.A man who fought to get the Vietnam Memorial built and served in two Bush administrations was found dead in a Delaware landfill.
John P. Wheeler III’s death has been ruled a homicide by Newark, Del., police and they are asking the public for any leads in the case.
Wheeler’s body was found in Wilmington on Friday after a disposal truck containing his body made pickups in Newark.
Wheeler lived in New Castle and he was chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund during the Ronald Reagan era. He also held many high-profile government positions after graduating from West Point in 1966.
He was also an experienced business turnaround consultant.
Police believe Wheeler's body had been placed inside one of the bins in Newark before a disposal truck arrived.
The Newark Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding Wheeler to contact them at 1-800-TIP-3333.

It's amazing how many former Bush employees end up dead.
But i am sure someone will deny that it has any meaning...just another coincidence......

Clinton Corpse Collection
I've investigated a lot of crimes over the last 32 years, including murders. Any criminal investigator with the slightest bit of experience and training could easily see (and most have seen) the many flaws, holes and gaps in the so-called Vince Foster "murder" investigation by, of all the federal law enforcement agencies, the Park Police. But, when one does a little more checking into the past of Bill and Hillary Clinton, they will find a long path of former friends, associates and business partners of the Clinton's who have died young and under mysterious circumstances. The following is a partial list of those whose blood cries out for justice.
Kevin Ives and Don Henry: Died August 1987. Reportedly, they had stumbled upon the Arkansas Mena Drug Operation (many stories and articles have been written about Clinton's affiliation with the Mena Mafia) It was first reported that these two young boys died as a result of falling asleep on a railroad track. It was later revealed that Ives had received a crushed skull prior to being placed on the tracks and Henry had been stabbed to death. The following 7 deaths were all of people who reportedly had knowledge and information concerning the mysterious, unsolved murders of Kevin Ives and Don Henry:
1. Keith Coney:died July 1988 from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. Some reports indicated that he was being chased by an unidentified vehicle.
2. Keith McKaskle: died Nov. 1988 from multiple stab wounds
3. Greg Collins: died Jan. 1989 from a gunshot wound to the head. No suspect was ever found.
4. Jeff Rhodes: died April 1989 from a gunshot wound to the head. His body was burned and thrown in a dumpster.
5. James Milam: died 1989. His death was ruled as being from natural causes, until his head was later recovered from a trash bin!
6. Richard Winters: died July 1990 from injuries sustained during a robbery attempt. He was a suspect in the death of Kevin Ives and Don Henry. Some reports claim the robbery was only a setup.
7. Jordan Kettleson: died June 1990. He died from gunshot wounds and was found sitting in his truck.
* Suzanne Coleman: died when Clinton served as Arkansas Attorney General. She was alleged to have been "romantically" involved with Clinton. Although she died from a gunshot to the back of her head, the death was ruled a suicide! She was pregnant at the time of her death.
* Alan Sandorf:died 1991. Sandorf was an employee of NSA (National Security Agency). He was reportedly providing info. to Danny Casolaro, who was an independent reporter investigating the INSLAW case (INSLAW involved Justice Dept. theft, cover-ups, missing records, fraud and gov. corruption of all sorts) Sandorf's body was found in the back seat of a car at the Washington National Airport.
* Dennis Eisman: shot to death in 1991. Eisman was an attorney, who was also working on the INSLAW case.
* Danny Casolaro: found dead in a Virginia motel room in 1992. His arms had been slashed multiple times. Casolaro was an independent investigative reporter who had extensive files and information on the INSLAW case against the Justice Dept. and other "high ranking" government officials. Even though his body was found, his files and documentations were said to have never been located!
* Victor Raiser II: died in 1992 from an unexplained airplane crash. He was co-chairman of the "Clinton for President" campaign. Montgomery Raiser, his son, also involved with the Clinton campaign was killed in the plane crash with his father and 5 other people.
* Ian Spiro: died in 1992. His wife and 3 children were found murdered in their home. They had been shot to death (execution style) Several days later Spiro's body was found in the Borego Desert. His autopsy revealed the cause of death as cyanide poisoning. He held files and evidence to produce before a grand jury in the INSLAW proceedings.
* Paul Tully: died 1992 from unknown causes. His body was found in a motel room in Little Rock Arkansas. He was supposedly one of Clinton's closest friends, and served as the National Democratic Committee Chairman.
* Jim Wilhite: died 1992 in a one person skiing accident. Wilhite had close ties to Clinton and was a former associate of Mack Mclarty (long time friend and counselor of Bill Clinton)
* Paula Gober: died 1992 from an unwitnessed one car accident. She traveled with Clinton and was his speech interpreter for the deaf for 4 years.
* Paul Wilcher: died 1993 from an "undetermined cause". He was a Washington attorney, who was investigating gov. corruption in the Mena Arkansas drug running organization and the BATF assault in the Waco ordeal. He had turned in a lengthy affidavit to Janet Reno only 3 weeks prior to his mysterious death! His body was found in a Washington apartment. His reports and documents have never been released.
* Robert Williams, Todd McKeehan, Conway LeBleau and Steve Willis: all died in 1993 from identical gunshot wounds to their left temples. They were the only BATF agents killed in Waco, Texas during the Branch Davidian raid. They also just happen to have been Clinton bodyguards!
* Scott Reynolds, William Barkley, Brian Hassley and Tim Sabel: all died in a "freak" helicopter crash in 1993, All 4 men had served as Clinton bodyguards. The helicopter crash site, near Quantico Virginia was barred from reporters and a video of the crash site, taken by a fire fighter, was seized by military officials.
* Gary Rhodes, William Robertson, William Desberger and Robert Kelly: all died in another helicopter crash in 1993. This one occurred in Germany and the cause was never determined. All 4 men were Clinton Bodyguards. They, along with 8 other men who were associated with Clinton's previous visit to the U.S.S. Roosevelt, died within a 4 month period!
* Vince Foster: died 1993 from a gunshot wound to the head. Long time "friend" of Hillary (Bill too) Clinton. He was the White House Deputy Counsel at the time of his murder....oh!. excuse me, suicide. Why do so many people who know the Clinton's want to kill themselves? I may add another page later to explain my many reasons for believing Foster's death to have been a murder and a sloppy cover up attempt. Many people, including some Republican Congressmen, have tried (as recently as July 1998) to get the Clinton Justice Dept. to re-open the investigation into Vincent Foster's death.
* Jon Parnell Walker: died 1993 from injuries received after "falling" from an apartment balcony at the top of the Lincoln Towers. This was a place in which Vince Foster was reported to use as a getaway! Walker was an investigator for the RTC (Resolution Trust Corporation) who was investigating the Whitewater affair and the Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan bankruptcy scandal. Walker was attempting to have the investigation moved from Arkansas to Washington at the time of his alleged slip off the top of the Lincoln Towers.
* Luther (Jerry) Parks: died from multiple gunshot wounds in 1993. His body was found by an intersection on I-10 outside Little Rock. He was the head of the Security Team at Clinton's National Campaign Headquarters in Arkansas. He had compiled a large file involving illicit activities (including sexual affairs) by Bill Clinton.
By the way,just prior to his death, his house was burglarized and all of his files and photos on Clinton and "friends" were stolen! Nothing else was taken. Jerry's 23 year old son, Gary Parks, stated to The "London Sunday Telegraph,"..."they had my father killed to save Bill Clinton's political career!" With 9 bullets having been removed from his body, the suicide theory has not yet been applied to this one!
* Stanley Heard and Steven Dickson: died 1993 in an unexplained airplane crash near the Dulles airport. Dickson was counsel to Heard, who was the chairman of the National Chiropractic Health Care Committee. Heard had also known and treated Clinton's mother and other Clinton family members.
* Ed Willey: died from a gunshot wound in 1993. He was a Clinton fund raiser and the husband of Kathleen Willey, another lady who fell victim to a sexual attack by Sicko Willie. His death was ruled....what else? A suicide, of course. It has been reported that he died the same day Mrs. Willey was "groped" by Clinton in the ORAL office.
* Gandy Baugh: died 1994. Of course, it was another suicide. Baugh was an attorney for Dan Lasater (Clinton's long time comrade from Arkansas, who was later convicted on criminal charges, including drugs). Baugh's law partner, not to be out-done, decided to commit his suicide exactly a month later!
* Herschell Friday: died in 1994. He was a member of Clinton's Presidential Finance Committee. The airplane he was flying in committed suicide by blowing itself up in mid flight!
* Bill Shelton: died 1994. He was an Arkansas State Trooper and fiancee of Kathy Furguson (we'll get to her momentarily). Shelton did a "trick suicide". He shot himself in the back of the head while visiting Kathy's grave!
* Kathy Furguson: died 1994. You guessed it. Suicide, by a gunshot to the head. Kathy, a hospital worker was recently divorced from Danny Furguson, another Arkansas State Trooper. Danny was also Clinton's co-defendant in the "Paula Jones" sexual harassment lawsuit. Kathy was known to be a little "too open" about sharing information with folks about Clinton's 3rd rate romances. Danny Furguson spared himself from a possible "suicide" when he changed his mind and decided that he did not escort Paula Jones to Clinton's motel room after all!
* Stanley Huggins: died 1994 after a "short illness". He had been a member of a large Memphis law firm and the head investigator probing into the suspicious loan and banking practices of the Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan.
* Calvin Walraven: died 1994. He was a 24 yr. old, and one of the state's main witnesses against Jocelyn Elder's son, who was up on drug charges. His body was found in his Arkansas apartment with a gunshot to the head. Even though the authorities never called it a suicide, the Little Rock P.D. said there was "no foul play suspected".
By the way, Jocelyn Elders was the "let's make marijuana legal and criminalize tobacco" Surgeon General, who was hand picked by Willie Boy! No need for her to commit suicide. She apparently came into the Surgeon General's position already brain-dead!
* Dr. Ronald Rogers:died 1994 from yet another bizarre plane crash. He was on the way to do an interview with a reporter for the "London Sunday Telegraph" about some of the scandalous and secret dealings of Bill Clinton.
* Ron Brown: died 1996. Brown was the Secretary of Commerce and the former chairman of the Democratic National Committee. He died along with 39 others in a plane crash, on the way to Croatia. The plane crash was originally reported to have been caused by bad weather. After independent sources revealed that there was no bad weather, the reports cited pilot error and navigational equipment failure as the cause.
Brown was very close to being indicted over financial fraud schemes etc., and had publicly announced that he was willing to make a deal with the prosecution. Many allegations have came out about Brown's missing, lost or stolen autopsy records containing x-rays that clearly showed a "bullet hole" in the back of Brown's head and bullet fragments inside his skull! If it's ever proven, I wonder if they'll also attribute that to pilot error?
* Barbara Wise:died 1996. Barbara was a 14 year employee with the Department of Commerce. She was an associate of Johnny Huang (financial and trade scandals, etc.) During the time rumors were circulating around Washington about Huang's possible involvement in illegal activities, the body of Barbara Wise was found in her Dept. of Commerce office. Her body was severely bruised and semi- nude. No official cause of death was ever released.
* Charles Meissner: died 1996. He was the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for International Economic Policy. He placed Johnny Huang on a Commerce Dept. Contract that allowed Huang to maintain a security clearance. Soon thereafter, Meissner was killed in the same plane crash along with Ron Brown.
* Admiral Jerry Boorda: died 1996. Admiral Boorda was the Chief of Naval Operations. He supposedly went home for lunch one day and, rather than have his scheduled interview with the Newsweek Magazine that afternoon, he decided to shoot himself twice in the chest.
* William Colby: died 1996. Former Director of Central Intelligence, William Colby was feared by many "insiders" because of the information Colby was allegedly writing about for his new book. He had already went public with information about illegal spying on American citizens and other CIA activities that embarrassed the agency. Colby was reported missing by neighbors. A massive search was conducted and the only thing recovered was Colby's canoe. He had left his house unlocked, his computer on and his lunch only partially eaten. Colby was known for his tidiness, but his house was said to have been in complete disarray. His wife stated that Colby never, never went out in his canoe without a life jacket on. But, several days later his body was discovered in the water in an area previously, thoroughly searched. He was not wearing a life-jacket. His book was never completed either.
* Mary Mahoney: died 1997. Mary was a former intern working in the White House for Bill Clinton. Rumors were said to have been circulating that a former intern was about to go public about being sexually harassed by Bill Clinton. Mahoney was working in a coffee shop in Georgetown, when gunmen entered. Mahoney's two associates were taken into a separate room and shot. Mary Mahoney's body contained five bullets. No money was taken. Murders never solved.
* Ron Miller: died 1997. Ron Miller was the man who tape recorded Gene and Nora Lum and turned the tapes over to the congressional oversight investigators. The Lums were arrested, convicted and sentenced to prison for campaign violations by fraudulently concealing their identity and the size of their political contributions. Ron Miller, a very healthy man was suddenly struck very ill and died within days. The medical examiner's office in Oklahoma refused to release blood test results. Many believe Miller's death was a result of Ricin poisoning.
* Sandy Hume: died 1998. Sandy had worked for Fox News for 3 weeks. he was the son of Brit Hume, journalist and Fox News reporter. Sandy was previously a reporter for the Hill Magazine. The Magazine had been the one to break the story about congressional in-fighting involving the Speaker of the House and Rep. Paxon in 1997. Oddly enough Representative Paxon resigned within 24 hours after the announced death of Sandy Hume. There was and still remains a total media blackout concerning the death of Sandy Hume. The 28 year old go-getter, news digging reporter was known to get a head start on the "inside" dirt within the Washington establishment. Apparent suicide was the only comment supposedly released about his tragic and untimely death.

Clinton Casualties
A "Casualty" is defined as anyone threatened with harm or actually harmed because of their knowledge of and/or involvement in one or more of the Clinton Scandals.
The following is a partial list of a large number of persons who who are presumed to be "Casualties" of the various Clinton scandals. President Clinton had promised his political supporters in Arkansas he will devote a lot of time going after detractors who pursued him on Whitewater and other ethical questions. (USA Today, November 8, 1996). It is a partial list because new addditions are added regularly and the full extent of being associated with Bill Clinton is not completly known.
The accounting of these mysterious deaths began in 1994 when in a letter to congressional leaders, former Rep. William Dannemeyer listed 24 people with some connection to Clinton who had died "under other than natural circumstances" and called for hearings on the matter. Dannemeyer's list of "suspicious deaths" was largely taken from one compiled by Linda Thompson, an Indianapolis lawyer, containing the names of 34 people she believed died suspiciously and who had ties to the Clinton family.
Some of the "Casualties" were openly murdered, but many were killed in such a way so that their deaths could be ruled accidents or suicides. This was especially true if they died in Arkansas where the medical examiners routinely ruled apparent murders as either accidents or suicides when it suited political purposes. In fact, this was so common that it was often referred to as "Arkancide" or "Arkansas Suicide".
"An apparent pattern of violence and intimidation has befallen a number of men and women with ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton, their partners in business, law and politics, and people investigating their affairs..." (The Arizona Republic, June 7, 1994)
On September 11, 2001, Barbara Olson died when the airplane she was flying in crashed into the Pentagon. American Airlines flight 77 was reportedly piloted by a suicidal terrorist whose cohorts also crashed planes into the World Trade Center in New York city and in Pennsylvania. Barbara served as the Republican chief counsel for the congressional committeee investigating the Clintons' involvement in Travelgate and Filegate. She also authored two books, "Hell to Pay: The Unfolding Story of Hillary Rodham Clinton," a scathing expose of Hillary Clinton, and "The Final Days: A Behind the Scenes Look at the Last, Desperate Abuses of Power by the Clinton White House."
I recently read an undocumented and unconfirmed report that yet another Clinton connected person has died of an "apparent" suicide. In March 1999, Eric Fox, who served on Marine One, was found shot in head after his car swerves off road.
On Sunday, February 22nd, 1998, Sandy Hume, the 28 year old son of journalist Britt Hume, was reportedly found dead in his Arlington, Virginia home. Aside from the statement that this was an "apparent" suicide, there remains in place a total media blackout on this story. Hume was a reporter for The Hill magazine, a newspaper about Congress for Congress, and had broken a major story in 1997 regarding the friction between House Speaker Newt Gingrich and a faction led by Representative Paxon (who announced his resignation just 24 hours after Hume's death).
Sandy had a reputation for getting the story that nobody else wanted to look at, and at the time of his death there reports that "a reporter" who was about to break a story confirming the White House's use of investigators to dig up dirt on critics and invstigators.
The man who performed the as-yet-unreleased autopsy is none other than Dr. James C. Beyer, who has a record of concealing homicides behind a ruling of suicide.
The OctopusDanny Casolaro, a reporter who was investigating several of the Clinton Scandals, was found dead in the bathtub of a hotel room in West Virginia on Aug. 10, 1991, with his wrists slit. He had earlier warned his family that his life was in danger and if he was found dead due to an apparent accident or suicide, not to believe it.
Finishing Casolaro's work, Kenn thomas and Jim Keith wrote, The Octopus : The Secret Government and Death of Danny Casolaro. It's a provocative analysis of the mysterious death of journalist Danny Casolaro and discusses the link between the death and high-level government conspiracy involving the Iran-Contra affair, the October Surprise, BCCI, and other political scandals and cover-ups.
On March 3, 1994, Dr. Ronald Rogers, a dentist from Royal, AR, was killed when his twin-engine Cessna crashed near Lawton, OK, in clear weather. He was on his way to see Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, a reporter from the "London Sunday Telegraph", to reveal some "dirt" on Clinton.
John A. Wilson, a Washington, D.C. councilman, "hung himself". He allegedly knew a lot about Clinton and was reportedly going to start talking before his death made that impossible.
Gandy Baugh, attorney representing Mr. Lassater in a case concerning alleged financial misconduct, died in an alleged suicide on Jan.8, 1994, by jumping out of a window of a multi-story building. Mr. Lassater was a close associate of Gov. Clinton, and was later indicted on drug related charges, among other things. Baugh's law partner was "suicided" one month later on Feb. 9, 1994.

Mary MahoneyIn July 1997, during the pre-trial publicity surrounding the Paula Jones lawsuit, and mere days after Newsweek's Mike Isikoff had dropped hints that a "former White House staffer" was about to go public with her story of sexual harassement at 1600 Pennsylvania, gunmen entered the Starbuck's Coffee shop in Georgetown while the crew was cleaning up. Mary Mahoney, a 25 year old former White House Intern for Bill Clinton, was working as the Assistant Manager. Mary's two associates, Aaron Goodrich, 18 and Emory Evans, 25, were taken to a room and shot. Mary herself had five bullets in her, from at least two different guns, most likely with silencers. A total of ten shots were fired; none of them heard by neighbors in the densely populated Georgetown section. Mary was shot in the chest, her face, and in the back of the head. No money was taken.
Suzanne Coleman had an affair with Bill Clinton when he was Attorney General in Arkansas. On 15 February 1977, she "committed suicide" with a gunshot to the back of the head. No autopsy was performed, but it has been alleged that she was seven-and-a-half months pregnant with Clinton's child, although never proven.
Judy Gibbs, who appeared in the December 1979 issue of Penthouse, and her sister Sharon were part of a house of prostitution in Fordyce, Arkansas that also engaged in blackmail of it's more powerful clients. Linked to Bill Clinton by both her own family and by one of Bill's bodyguards, Judy had just decided to cooperate with police in an investigation of Arkansas cocaine trafficking when she burned to death inside her home from a fire of undetermined origin.
Gary Johnson, an attorney who lived next door to Gennifer Flowers, was beaten severely and left for dead by two thugs who broke into his apartment. It seems he had videotaped some of Clinton's "visits" and had mentioned the existence of the tapes to other people. The intruders made sure THEY TOOK THE "CLINTON-FLOWERS" TAPES after they finished the beating.
Kathy Ferguson, the ex-wife of Arkansas State Trooper Danny Ferguson, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head, in Sherwood, AR. On May 11, 1993, the right-handed Ferguson supposedly shot herself behind the left ear. It was labeled a suicide even though much of the forensic evidence does not support this finding. She died five days after her ex-husband, was named a co-conspirator in the Paula Jones case. Kathy had told friends that Clinton had sexually harassed her in a manner similar to that reported by Paula Jones. She purportedly had knowledge of Clinton's "regulars" and often talked about how Clinton had gotten Danny to bring women to him and stand watch while they had sex. Part of Danny's job was to make sure that each woman was ready and willing when she and Clinton got together. Kathy said she heard that Clinton was really mad when Paula Jones wouldn't "put out".
Bill Shelton, an Arkansas police officer and boyfriend of Kathy Ferguson at the time of her death, was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head, in Sherwood, AR. He was shot behind the ear which is usually the sign of an execution. His death was also labeled a suicide. Shelton was highly critical of the conclusion of local police that Kathy had committed suicide and he aired his complaints widely.
Sally Perdue, one of Clinton's "regulars", was offered a $60,000/year federal job to keep her mouth shut; or she would have her legs broken. When she did come forward, she received a series of threats; but luckily for her, the American press mostly ignored her.
The Dallas Morning News reported that the offices of The American Spectator magazine were broken into and ransacked twice in September of 1994 after David Brock returned to Washington, DC from Arkansas to write up his interview of the Arkansas State Troopers. There was also a September break-in at an apartment that the magazine keeps on the upper east side of Manhattan. The three break-ins during Sept. of 1994 are the only ones ever experienced by the magazine in its 27 year history.
Whitewater
People have been beaten and perhaps even killed for trying to expose the background of Webster Hubbell and the dealings of the Rose Law Firm of which he was a partner. Other famous partners in the firm were Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Vincent Foster.
James McDougalJames McDougal was serving his 3 year sentence for bank fraud at the Fort Worth Federal Medical Center in Texas, a facility operated by the federal Bureau of Prisons for inmates who need medical attention. Just prior to another round of testimony before Kenneth Starr's grand jury, Jim McDougal suffered a heart attack while in solitary confinement and died March 8, 1998. When Jim McDougal was taken out of solitary, instead of attempting to defibrillate his heart with equipment on hand at the facility, he was driven over to John Peter Smith hospital. Not the closest hospital to the Fort Worth Federal Medical Center, John Peter Smith hospital is a welfare hospital, where (in the words of one local) ,"They let interns practice on deadbeats".
The single most damning fact to come out of the McDougal death was his injection with Lasix, a diuretic, to force his giving a urine sample for drug testing, even though McDougal was not a known drug case, and Lasix is contra-indicated in cases of heart disease. Lasix can cause excessive diuresis, blood volume reduction, circulatory collapse, and vascular thrombosis, or blood clots. If a matching potassium supplement is not administered at the same time, Lasix can kill.
Vince Foster, a former partner in the Rose Law firm and White House aide, had just been served a subpeona and was supposed to testify about Whitewater. Instead of testifying, he died on July 20, 1993. A suicide note was supposedly found a few days later, torn into several pieces, in his briefcase, after his office had been entered by white house staff and materials removed. (The "suicide" note has since been revealed to be a forgery.) The suicide conclusion does NOT square with the testimony from the man who found the body (the Confidential Witness) or much of the forensic evidence. For example, the gun which he supposedly used to kill himself was reported to be still in his hand, but the person who first found the body reports that there was no gun. A signed report of Medical Examiner, Dr. Donald Haut was uncovered at the National Archives, proving that Foster had a previously unreported gunshot wound to his neck. And, an FBI memo has surfaced dated the day after the date of the official autopsy, in which the autopsies informs the FBI that there was NO exit wound.
I'm sure Bill Clinton was relieved when the Supreme Court ruled that the attorney-client privilege of confidentiality protects against disclosure of the notes even after a client’s death. That was the plan, after all, wasn't it?
The Associated Press:Vincent Foster: the death investigation that hasn't ended.
Jon Walker, an investigator for the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), mysteriously "fell" to his death from Lincoln Towers, in Arlington, VA. In March 1992, Walker contacted the Kansas City RTC office for information concerning the ties between Whitewater and the Clintons. He reportedly was looking into a 50 million dollar transfer from an RTC fund in Chicago to Madison Guaranty Savings & Loan to cover up a 47 million dollar embezzlement.
Johnny Franklin Laughton, Jr., and a friend hit a telephone pole at a high rate of speed, Mar. 29, 1998, after their car had become airborne and left the road. They had driven less than 1/4 of a mile at the time of the impact. In the spring of 1997, a tornado ripped through some junked cars at Johnny's transmission and opened up the trunk of a car that proved to have a box of Whitewater records in it, including a copy of a $27,000 cashiers check drawn on Madison and payable to Bill Clinton. Johnny Franklin Laughton, Jr. realized what he was looking at and turned the box of documents over to the FBI.
Campaign Finance
Betty CurrieThe night before White House secretary, Betty Currie, was to testify before the Campaign Finance hearing, her brother, Theodore Williams, Jr., was severely beaten and hospitalized (see Oregonian January 29, 1998 Page A9). Then within one month of her testifying in the Lewinsky Grand Jury her sister was killed in a car "accident" in December 1997.
Ronald Miller died October 12, 1997. Miller is a former co-owner of Creek Systems/Gage Corp., an Oklahoma natural gas company that alleged discrimination by corrupt utility regulators. A court case that could have proved damaging to high-ranking Democrats was averted at the last minute when the Lums helped to purchase Gage Corp. and drop the lawsuit. Miller tape recorded Gene and Nora Lum and turned those tapes (and other records) over to congressional oversight investigators. The Lums were sentenced to prison for campaign finance violations, using "straw donors" to conceal the size of their contributions to various candidates.
Reportedly a healthy man, Ron suddenly took ill on October 3rd, and steadily worsened until his deah 9 days later. (This pattern fits Ricine poisoning.) Owing to the strangeness of the illness, doctors at the Integris Baptist Medical Center referred the matter to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's Office who promptly ran tests on samples of Ron Miller's blood, but has refused to release the results or even to confirm that the tests were ever completed.
Ed Willey, the manager of the Clinton presidential campaign finance committee, died of a "self-inflicted" gunshot wound in Nov. '93. He was seen handling briefcases full of cash during the campaign. Mr. Willey died on the same day his wife was allegedly assaulted in the White House by Bill Clinton.
Barbara Alice Wise was employed in the same section of the Commerce Department which was the focus of illegal foreign fundraising. She was found dead in her office at Commerce's International Trade Administration on November 29, 1996.
Jerry Parks, the owner of a security firm that provided security for Clinton's presidential campaign, was gunned down, assassination style, on Sept. 26, 1993 in Little Rock. Now the dead man's son, Gary Parks, charges that his father, who ran American Contract Services Inc., was killed "to save Bill Clinton's political career." Interviewed in the London Telegraph, the younger Parks said "my dad was working on Clinton's infidelities for about six years, starting in the campaign around 1983," and had compiled two name-and-photo-filled files on Mr. Clinton that he kept hidden in his bedroom.
The Clinton campaign had failed to settle an outstanding debt to Parks for $81,000 at the time of his death. Parks' wife said her husband threatened to go public with his information if Clinton did not pay the bill. Parks' home was broken into only hours before he was murdered. THE ONLY THING TAKEN FROM HIS HOME WAS THE DOCUMENTATION HE HAD ON CLINTON'S "ACTIVITIES".
C. Victor Raiser II, the co-chairman of Clinton's presidential campaign finance committee, was killed in a plane crash on July 30, 1992 near Anchorage, AK, in good weather. With his inside knowledge of the Clinton operation, he had become disillusioned by what he had seen and thus became a potential liability.
The Democratic National Committee political director, Paul Tully, died from unknown causes in his hotel room in Little Rock on September 24, 1992. The Arkansas medical examiner's office ruled the death was because of a massive heart attack.
L.J. Davis, a veteran journalist, was knocked unconscious in a Little Rock hotel. Pages were stolen from his notebook that contained information on the inner workings of the Rose law firm. He later received threats to back off the story. Davis is a contributing editor for Harper's magazine and does free-lance writing for many publications.
Herschel Friday, a member of the Clinton presidential campaign finance committee, was killed when his plane crashed on Mar. 1, 1994 as he approached his private landing strip near his Arkansas home, in a light drizzle.
U.S. Commerce Secretary Ron Brown was killed when his plane crashed as it approached the Dubrovnik, Croatia airport. Brown had previously been under investigation by the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Commerce Department's Inspector General, the Justice Department, the FDIC, and the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee was within two weeks of possibly being indicted for an bribe allegedly paid by Dynamic Energy Resources in Oklahoma.
A few years ago, a Vietnamese official accused him of asking for a $700,000 or so bribe in exchange for using his influence with Clinton to get sanctions against Vietnam lifted and to open the country up to U.S. trade and investment. After apparently stalling on the issue, the Justice Department convened a grand jury to hear evidence, which could have resulted in a possible criminal indictment. Veteran investigative journalist Sherman Skolnick, commented that "There was jury-tampering by President Clinton and his Justice Department. The grand jury proceedings were supposed to be kept secret, yet Brown and his confederates were day by day illegally kept informed, so they could obstruct justice by bribing or terrorizing grand jury witnesses. Brown was not indicted......"
Brown made sure that Democratic leaders got the message: "I'm too old to go to jail. If I go down, I'll take everyone else down with me." That, of course, would include the Clintons. Brown's oft-repeated warning was clearly heard. Brown's threats may have become his own death warrant.
Brown's plane was probably relying on Croatian ground beacons for navigation. In the minutes before Brown's plane crashed, five other planes landed at Dubrovnik without difficulty, and none experienced problems with the beacons. But additional questions about the beacons and the crash will remain unanswered because, as the Air Force acknowledges, airport maintenance chief Niko Junic died by gunshot just three days after the crash and before he could be interviewed by investigators. Within a day of his death, officials determined the death was a suicide.
Dying along with Ron Brown on April 3, 1996, was Charles Meissner, Assistant Secretay of Commerce. Meissner reportedly had provided special security clearance to John Huang.
Air Force Tech. Sgt. Shelley Kelly, a stewardess, survived the crash for some four hours. Kelly and another stewardess had been seated in a jump seat at the very rear of the 737. That area was found basically intact after the crash. According to the Air Force, she received first aid from Croatian rescuers but died on the way to a nearby hospital. Her autopsy report states that Kelly died of a broken neck…"
Ron Brown's high level Muslim associate, Mohamed Ferrat was supposed to be on Ron Brown's doomed death flight, but he changed plans at the last minute. He later died on TWA Flight 800. Coincidence?
Terry Reed, co-author of, Compromised: Clinton, Bush, and the CIA received a death threat while signing copies at a Little Rock Wal-Mart. The book claims that Bill Clinton was involved in more than $9 million a week in cash being secretly air dropped into Arkansas while he was governor. The threat was slipped onto the front seat of his car according to Little Rock Police Information Report Number 94-53155.
Stanley Huggins, a partner in a Memphis law firm, was found dead on June 23, 1994 reportedly from viral pneumonia. Huggins headed a 1987 examination into the loan practices of Madison Savings & Loan. He produced a 300-400 page report that has never been made public.
Drug Smuggling Operations at Mena
Paul Wilcher, an attorney, was found dead in his Washington, D.C. home. The coroner either could not find or did not report the cause of death. At the time of his death, Wilcher was investigating gun-running and the drug business in Mena, AR. Shortly before his death he wrote a 105-page letter to Attorney General Janet Reno describing evidence that he allegedly had concerning Mena. The first page of his letter stated in part; "The lives of key participants, other witnesses, and even myself, are now in grave danger as a result of my passing this information on to you. If you let this information fall into the hands of the wrong persons... some or all of those who know the truth ...could well be silenced in the very near future."
Alder Berriman (Barry) Seal, the head of the cocaine smuggling operation at Mena airport, was murdered.
Florence Martin, an accountant who had worked as a sub-contractor for the CIA, was found dead in Mabell, TX, the victim of three gunshot wounds to the head. She had the documents and paperwork as well as the pin number to an account that had been set up in the name of Barry Seal for $1.46 million dollars at the Fuji Bank in the Cayman Islands.
Kevin Ives, a teenager who lived near Mena, AR, was run over by a train close to Mena. First ruled a suicide, a later autopsy showed he was murdered before he was run over by the train. He may have gotten too curious about air drops he had seen in the nearby countryside.
Don Henry, a friend of Kevin Ives, was also run over by the train on the same night. His death was initially ruled a suicide, too, but a later autopsy showed he was also murdered before he was run over by the train.
Keith Coney, an individual who claimed to have information about the deaths of Kevin Ives and Don Henry, was fleeing an attacker on his motorcycle, when he slammed into the back of a truck. Police ruled it a "traffic fatality".
Keith McKaskle, another person who claimed to have information about the Ives-Henry murders, was brutally stabbed to death in his home. He knew someone was after him so he had said goodbye to his friends and family.
Gregory Collins, another person who claimed to have information about the Ives-Henry murders, died from a shotgun blast in the face.
Jeff Rhodes, another person who claimed to have information about the Ives-Henry murders, was shot in the head. His burned body was found in the city dump, with his hands, feet, and head partially severed.
Richard Winters, another person who claimed to have information about the Ives-Henry murders, was killed by a man using a sawed-off shotgun.
Jordan Ketelson, another person who claimed to have information about the Ives-Henry murders, died of a shotgun blast to the head.

Died on Feb. 28, 1993, or perhaps "executed" by gunfire in the Waco, Texas assault on the Branch Davidians. All four were examined by a "private doctor" and died from nearly identical wounds to the left temple, so-called execution style. According to Linda Thompson, videotapes and other evidence indicates that none died from guns fired by Branch Davidians.
In the videotape by the American Justice Federation, "WACO II, the Big Lie Continues," Linda Thompson demonstrates that 15 shots were fired from six separate weapons into and out of a room into which three of the four agents had entered through a window. Four of these shots were fired from an overhead helicopter, at least two shots were fired into the room by an agent outside the window, firing an MP5 submachine gun, who also threw in a concussion grenade. In the autopsies of these agents, three had virtually identical wounds to the left temple that exited through the rear of the head, execution-style.
In his address to employees of the Treasury Department in the Cash Room on March 18, 1993, Clinton said: "My prayers and I'm sure yours are still with the families of all four of the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents who were killed in WACO -- Todd McKeehan and Conway Le Bleu of New Orleans; Steve Willis of Houston, and Robert Williams from my hometown of Little Rock. Three of those four were assigned to my security during the course of the primary or general election." However, the Little Rock, Arkansas office of the ATF confirmed that all four had at one point been bodyguards for Bill Clinton, three while he was campaigning for President, and while he had been governor of Arkansas.

V Corps figured prominently in the US Bosnia-Serbia peacekeeping operations, along with the carrier Roosevelt. These men, and 8 others associated with Clinton's visit to the Roosevelt all died within 4 months of each other.

All four men died May 19, 1993 when their helicopter crashed in the woods near Quantico, Va. Reporters were barred from the site, and the head of the fire department responding to the crash described it by saying, "Security was tight," with "lots of Marines with guns." A videotape made by a firefighter was seized by the Marines. All four men had escorted Clinton on his flight to the carrier Roosevelt shortly before their deaths.
Alan G. Whicher oversaw Clinton's Secret Service detail. In October 1994 Whicher was transferred to the Secret Service field office in the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City. Whatever warning was given to the BATF agents in that building did not reach Alan Whicher, who died in the bomb blast of April 19th 1995.
Luther Parks, head of Clinton's Gubernatorial security team in Little Rock, was gunned down in his car at the intersection of Chanaul Parkway and Cantrell Road, near Jacksonville, Arkansas on September 26, 1993. Parks was shot through the rear window of his car. The assailant then pulled around to the driver's side of Park's car and shot him three more times with a 9mm pistol.
His family reported that shortly before his death, they were being followed by unknown persons, and their home had been broken into (despite a top quality alarm system). Parks had been compiling a dossier on Clinton's illicit activities. The dossier was stolen. When news of the discovery of Vincent Foster's body came over the news, Parks is reported to have said,"Bill Clinton is cleaning house".

I've investigated a lot of crimes over the last 32 years, including murders. Any criminal investigator with the slightest bit of experience and training could easily see (and most have seen) the many flaws, holes and gaps in the so-called Vince Foster "murder" investigation by, of all the federal law enforcement agencies, the Park Police. But, when one does a little more checking into the past of Bill and Hillary Clinton, they will find a long path of former friends, associates and business partners of the Clinton's who have died young and under mysterious circumstances. The following is a partial list of those whose blood cries out for justice.
Kevin Ives and Don Henry: Died August 1987. Reportedly, they had stumbled upon the Arkansas Mena Drug Operation (many stories and articles have been written about Clinton's affiliation with the Mena Mafia) It was first reported that these two young boys died as a result of falling asleep on a railroad track. It was later revealed that Ives had received a crushed skull prior to being placed on the tracks and Henry had been stabbed to death. The following 7 deaths were all of people who reportedly had knowledge and information concerning the mysterious, unsolved murders of Kevin Ives and Don Henry:
1. Keith Coney:died July 1988 from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. Some reports indicated that he was being chased by an unidentified vehicle.
2. Keith McKaskle: died Nov. 1988 from multiple stab wounds
3. Greg Collins: died Jan. 1989 from a gunshot wound to the head. No suspect was ever found.
4. Jeff Rhodes: died April 1989 from a gunshot wound to the head. His body was burned and thrown in a dumpster.
5. James Milam: died 1989. His death was ruled as being from natural causes, until his head was later recovered from a trash bin!
6. Richard Winters: died July 1990 from injuries sustained during a robbery attempt. He was a suspect in the death of Kevin Ives and Don Henry. Some reports claim the robbery was only a setup.
7. Jordan Kettleson: died June 1990. He died from gunshot wounds and was found sitting in his truck.
* Suzanne Coleman: died when Clinton served as Arkansas Attorney General. She was alleged to have been "romantically" involved with Clinton. Although she died from a gunshot to the back of her head, the death was ruled a suicide! She was pregnant at the time of her death.
* Alan Sandorf:died 1991. Sandorf was an employee of NSA (National Security Agency). He was reportedly providing info. to Danny Casolaro, who was an independent reporter investigating the INSLAW case (INSLAW involved Justice Dept. theft, cover-ups, missing records, fraud and gov. corruption of all sorts) Sandorf's body was found in the back seat of a car at the Washington National Airport.
* Dennis Eisman: shot to death in 1991. Eisman was an attorney, who was also working on the INSLAW case.
* Danny Casolaro: found dead in a Virginia motel room in 1992. His arms had been slashed multiple times. Casolaro was an independent investigative reporter who had extensive files and information on the INSLAW case against the Justice Dept. and other "high ranking" government officials. Even though his body was found, his files and documentations were said to have never been located!
* Victor Raiser II: died in 1992 from an unexplained airplane crash. He was co-chairman of the "Clinton for President" campaign. Montgomery Raiser, his son, also involved with the Clinton campaign was killed in the plane crash with his father and 5 other people.
* Ian Spiro: died in 1992. His wife and 3 children were found murdered in their home. They had been shot to death (execution style) Several days later Spiro's body was found in the Borego Desert. His autopsy revealed the cause of death as cyanide poisoning. He held files and evidence to produce before a grand jury in the INSLAW proceedings.
* Paul Tully: died 1992 from unknown causes. His body was found in a motel room in Little Rock Arkansas. He was supposedly one of Clinton's closest friends, and served as the National Democratic Committee Chairman.
* Jim Wilhite: died 1992 in a one person skiing accident. Wilhite had close ties to Clinton and was a former associate of Mack Mclarty (long time friend and counselor of Bill Clinton)
* Paula Gober: died 1992 from an unwitnessed one car accident. She traveled with Clinton and was his speech interpreter for the deaf for 4 years.
* Paul Wilcher: died 1993 from an "undetermined cause". He was a Washington attorney, who was investigating gov. corruption in the Mena Arkansas drug running organization and the BATF assault in the Waco ordeal. He had turned in a lengthy affidavit to Janet Reno only 3 weeks prior to his mysterious death! His body was found in a Washington apartment. His reports and documents have never been released.
* Robert Williams, Todd McKeehan, Conway LeBleau and Steve Willis: all died in 1993 from identical gunshot wounds to their left temples. They were the only BATF agents killed in Waco, Texas during the Branch Davidian raid. They also just happen to have been Clinton bodyguards!
* Scott Reynolds, William Barkley, Brian Hassley and Tim Sabel: all died in a "freak" helicopter crash in 1993, All 4 men had served as Clinton bodyguards. The helicopter crash site, near Quantico Virginia was barred from reporters and a video of the crash site, taken by a fire fighter, was seized by military officials.
* Gary Rhodes, William Robertson, William Desberger and Robert Kelly: all died in another helicopter crash in 1993. This one occurred in Germany and the cause was never determined. All 4 men were Clinton Bodyguards. They, along with 8 other men who were associated with Clinton's previous visit to the U.S.S. Roosevelt, died within a 4 month period!
* Vince Foster: died 1993 from a gunshot wound to the head. Long time "friend" of Hillary (Bill too) Clinton. He was the White House Deputy Counsel at the time of his murder....oh!. excuse me, suicide. Why do so many people who know the Clinton's want to kill themselves? I may add another page later to explain my many reasons for believing Foster's death to have been a murder and a sloppy cover up attempt. Many people, including some Republican Congressmen, have tried (as recently as July 1998) to get the Clinton Justice Dept. to re-open the investigation into Vincent Foster's death.
* Jon Parnell Walker: died 1993 from injuries received after "falling" from an apartment balcony at the top of the Lincoln Towers. This was a place in which Vince Foster was reported to use as a getaway! Walker was an investigator for the RTC (Resolution Trust Corporation) who was investigating the Whitewater affair and the Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan bankruptcy scandal. Walker was attempting to have the investigation moved from Arkansas to Washington at the time of his alleged slip off the top of the Lincoln Towers.
* Luther (Jerry) Parks: died from multiple gunshot wounds in 1993. His body was found by an intersection on I-10 outside Little Rock. He was the head of the Security Team at Clinton's National Campaign Headquarters in Arkansas. He had compiled a large file involving illicit activities (including sexual affairs) by Bill Clinton.
By the way,just prior to his death, his house was burglarized and all of his files and photos on Clinton and "friends" were stolen! Nothing else was taken. Jerry's 23 year old son, Gary Parks, stated to The "London Sunday Telegraph,"..."they had my father killed to save Bill Clinton's political career!" With 9 bullets having been removed from his body, the suicide theory has not yet been applied to this one!
* Stanley Heard and Steven Dickson: died 1993 in an unexplained airplane crash near the Dulles airport. Dickson was counsel to Heard, who was the chairman of the National Chiropractic Health Care Committee. Heard had also known and treated Clinton's mother and other Clinton family members.
* Ed Willey: died from a gunshot wound in 1993. He was a Clinton fund raiser and the husband of Kathleen Willey, another lady who fell victim to a sexual attack by Sicko Willie. His death was ruled....what else? A suicide, of course. It has been reported that he died the same day Mrs. Willey was "groped" by Clinton in the ORAL office.
* Gandy Baugh: died 1994. Of course, it was another suicide. Baugh was an attorney for Dan Lasater (Clinton's long time comrade from Arkansas, who was later convicted on criminal charges, including drugs). Baugh's law partner, not to be out-done, decided to commit his suicide exactly a month later!
* Herschell Friday: died in 1994. He was a member of Clinton's Presidential Finance Committee. The airplane he was flying in committed suicide by blowing itself up in mid flight!
* Bill Shelton: died 1994. He was an Arkansas State Trooper and fiancee of Kathy Furguson (we'll get to her momentarily). Shelton did a "trick suicide". He shot himself in the back of the head while visiting Kathy's grave!
* Kathy Furguson: died 1994. You guessed it. Suicide, by a gunshot to the head. Kathy, a hospital worker was recently divorced from Danny Furguson, another Arkansas State Trooper. Danny was also Clinton's co-defendant in the "Paula Jones" sexual harassment lawsuit. Kathy was known to be a little "too open" about sharing information with folks about Clinton's 3rd rate romances. Danny Furguson spared himself from a possible "suicide" when he changed his mind and decided that he did not escort Paula Jones to Clinton's motel room after all!
* Stanley Huggins: died 1994 after a "short illness". He had been a member of a large Memphis law firm and the head investigator probing into the suspicious loan and banking practices of the Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan.
* Calvin Walraven: died 1994. He was a 24 yr. old, and one of the state's main witnesses against Jocelyn Elder's son, who was up on drug charges. His body was found in his Arkansas apartment with a gunshot to the head. Even though the authorities never called it a suicide, the Little Rock P.D. said there was "no foul play suspected".
By the way, Jocelyn Elders was the "let's make marijuana legal and criminalize tobacco" Surgeon General, who was hand picked by Willie Boy! No need for her to commit suicide. She apparently came into the Surgeon General's position already brain-dead!
* Dr. Ronald Rogers:died 1994 from yet another bizarre plane crash. He was on the way to do an interview with a reporter for the "London Sunday Telegraph" about some of the scandalous and secret dealings of Bill Clinton.
* Ron Brown: died 1996. Brown was the Secretary of Commerce and the former chairman of the Democratic National Committee. He died along with 39 others in a plane crash, on the way to Croatia. The plane crash was originally reported to have been caused by bad weather. After independent sources revealed that there was no bad weather, the reports cited pilot error and navigational equipment failure as the cause.
Brown was very close to being indicted over financial fraud schemes etc., and had publicly announced that he was willing to make a deal with the prosecution. Many allegations have came out about Brown's missing, lost or stolen autopsy records containing x-rays that clearly showed a "bullet hole" in the back of Brown's head and bullet fragments inside his skull! If it's ever proven, I wonder if they'll also attribute that to pilot error?
* Barbara Wise:died 1996. Barbara was a 14 year employee with the Department of Commerce. She was an associate of Johnny Huang (financial and trade scandals, etc.) During the time rumors were circulating around Washington about Huang's possible involvement in illegal activities, the body of Barbara Wise was found in her Dept. of Commerce office. Her body was severely bruised and semi- nude. No official cause of death was ever released.
* Charles Meissner: died 1996. He was the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for International Economic Policy. He placed Johnny Huang on a Commerce Dept. Contract that allowed Huang to maintain a security clearance. Soon thereafter, Meissner was killed in the same plane crash along with Ron Brown.
* Admiral Jerry Boorda: died 1996. Admiral Boorda was the Chief of Naval Operations. He supposedly went home for lunch one day and, rather than have his scheduled interview with the Newsweek Magazine that afternoon, he decided to shoot himself twice in the chest.
* William Colby: died 1996. Former Director of Central Intelligence, William Colby was feared by many "insiders" because of the information Colby was allegedly writing about for his new book. He had already went public with information about illegal spying on American citizens and other CIA activities that embarrassed the agency. Colby was reported missing by neighbors. A massive search was conducted and the only thing recovered was Colby's canoe. He had left his house unlocked, his computer on and his lunch only partially eaten. Colby was known for his tidiness, but his house was said to have been in complete disarray. His wife stated that Colby never, never went out in his canoe without a life jacket on. But, several days later his body was discovered in the water in an area previously, thoroughly searched. He was not wearing a life-jacket. His book was never completed either.
* Mary Mahoney: died 1997. Mary was a former intern working in the White House for Bill Clinton. Rumors were said to have been circulating that a former intern was about to go public about being sexually harassed by Bill Clinton. Mahoney was working in a coffee shop in Georgetown, when gunmen entered. Mahoney's two associates were taken into a separate room and shot. Mary Mahoney's body contained five bullets. No money was taken. Murders never solved.
* Ron Miller: died 1997. Ron Miller was the man who tape recorded Gene and Nora Lum and turned the tapes over to the congressional oversight investigators. The Lums were arrested, convicted and sentenced to prison for campaign violations by fraudulently concealing their identity and the size of their political contributions. Ron Miller, a very healthy man was suddenly struck very ill and died within days. The medical examiner's office in Oklahoma refused to release blood test results. Many believe Miller's death was a result of Ricin poisoning.
* Sandy Hume: died 1998. Sandy had worked for Fox News for 3 weeks. he was the son of Brit Hume, journalist and Fox News reporter. Sandy was previously a reporter for the Hill Magazine. The Magazine had been the one to break the story about congressional in-fighting involving the Speaker of the House and Rep. Paxon in 1997. Oddly enough Representative Paxon resigned within 24 hours after the announced death of Sandy Hume. There was and still remains a total media blackout concerning the death of Sandy Hume. The 28 year old go-getter, news digging reporter was known to get a head start on the "inside" dirt within the Washington establishment. Apparent suicide was the only comment supposedly released about his tragic and untimely death.

Clinton Casualties
A "Casualty" is defined as anyone threatened with harm or actually harmed because of their knowledge of and/or involvement in one or more of the Clinton Scandals.
The following is a partial list of a large number of persons who who are presumed to be "Casualties" of the various Clinton scandals. President Clinton had promised his political supporters in Arkansas he will devote a lot of time going after detractors who pursued him on Whitewater and other ethical questions. (USA Today, November 8, 1996). It is a partial list because new addditions are added regularly and the full extent of being associated with Bill Clinton is not completly known.
The accounting of these mysterious deaths began in 1994 when in a letter to congressional leaders, former Rep. William Dannemeyer listed 24 people with some connection to Clinton who had died "under other than natural circumstances" and called for hearings on the matter. Dannemeyer's list of "suspicious deaths" was largely taken from one compiled by Linda Thompson, an Indianapolis lawyer, containing the names of 34 people she believed died suspiciously and who had ties to the Clinton family.
Some of the "Casualties" were openly murdered, but many were killed in such a way so that their deaths could be ruled accidents or suicides. This was especially true if they died in Arkansas where the medical examiners routinely ruled apparent murders as either accidents or suicides when it suited political purposes. In fact, this was so common that it was often referred to as "Arkancide" or "Arkansas Suicide".

On September 11, 2001, Barbara Olson died when the airplane she was flying in crashed into the Pentagon. American Airlines flight 77 was reportedly piloted by a suicidal terrorist whose cohorts also crashed planes into the World Trade Center in New York city and in Pennsylvania. Barbara served as the Republican chief counsel for the congressional committeee investigating the Clintons' involvement in Travelgate and Filegate. She also authored two books, "Hell to Pay: The Unfolding Story of Hillary Rodham Clinton," a scathing expose of Hillary Clinton, and "The Final Days: A Behind the Scenes Look at the Last, Desperate Abuses of Power by the Clinton White House."
I recently read an undocumented and unconfirmed report that yet another Clinton connected person has died of an "apparent" suicide. In March 1999, Eric Fox, who served on Marine One, was found shot in head after his car swerves off road.
On Sunday, February 22nd, 1998, Sandy Hume, the 28 year old son of journalist Britt Hume, was reportedly found dead in his Arlington, Virginia home. Aside from the statement that this was an "apparent" suicide, there remains in place a total media blackout on this story. Hume was a reporter for The Hill magazine, a newspaper about Congress for Congress, and had broken a major story in 1997 regarding the friction between House Speaker Newt Gingrich and a faction led by Representative Paxon (who announced his resignation just 24 hours after Hume's death).
Sandy had a reputation for getting the story that nobody else wanted to look at, and at the time of his death there reports that "a reporter" who was about to break a story confirming the White House's use of investigators to dig up dirt on critics and invstigators.
The man who performed the as-yet-unreleased autopsy is none other than Dr. James C. Beyer, who has a record of concealing homicides behind a ruling of suicide.
The OctopusDanny Casolaro, a reporter who was investigating several of the Clinton Scandals, was found dead in the bathtub of a hotel room in West Virginia on Aug. 10, 1991, with his wrists slit. He had earlier warned his family that his life was in danger and if he was found dead due to an apparent accident or suicide, not to believe it.

It's a provocative analysis of the mysterious death of journalist Danny Casolaro and discusses the link between the death and high-level government conspiracy involving the Iran-Contra affair, the October Surprise, BCCI, and other political scandals and cover-ups.
On March 3, 1994, Dr. Ronald Rogers, a dentist from Royal, AR, was killed when his twin-engine Cessna crashed near Lawton, OK, in clear weather. He was on his way to see Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, a reporter from the "London Sunday Telegraph", to reveal some "dirt" on Clinton.
John A. Wilson, a Washington, D.C. councilman, "hung himself". He allegedly knew a lot about Clinton and was reportedly going to start talking before his death made that impossible.
Gandy Baugh, attorney representing Mr. Lassater in a case concerning alleged financial misconduct, died in an alleged suicide on Jan.8, 1994, by jumping out of a window of a multi-story building. Mr. Lassater was a close associate of Gov. Clinton, and was later indicted on drug related charges, among other things. Baugh's law partner was "suicided" one month later on Feb. 9, 1994.

Mary MahoneyIn July 1997, during the pre-trial publicity surrounding the Paula Jones lawsuit, and mere days after Newsweek's Mike Isikoff had dropped hints that a "former White House staffer" was about to go public with her story of sexual harassement at 1600 Pennsylvania, gunmen entered the Starbuck's Coffee shop in Georgetown while the crew was cleaning up. Mary Mahoney, a 25 year old former White House Intern for Bill Clinton, was working as the Assistant Manager. Mary's two associates, Aaron Goodrich, 18 and Emory Evans, 25, were taken to a room and shot. Mary herself had five bullets in her, from at least two different guns, most likely with silencers. A total of ten shots were fired; none of them heard by neighbors in the densely populated Georgetown section. Mary was shot in the chest, her face, and in the back of the head. No money was taken.
Suzanne Coleman had an affair with Bill Clinton when he was Attorney General in Arkansas. On 15 February 1977, she "committed suicide" with a gunshot to the back of the head. No autopsy was performed, but it has been alleged that she was seven-and-a-half months pregnant with Clinton's child, although never proven.
Judy Gibbs, who appeared in the December 1979 issue of Penthouse, and her sister Sharon were part of a house of prostitution in Fordyce, Arkansas that also engaged in blackmail of it's more powerful clients. Linked to Bill Clinton by both her own family and by one of Bill's bodyguards, Judy had just decided to cooperate with police in an investigation of Arkansas cocaine trafficking when she burned to death inside her home from a fire of undetermined origin.
Gary Johnson, an attorney who lived next door to Gennifer Flowers, was beaten severely and left for dead by two thugs who broke into his apartment. It seems he had videotaped some of Clinton's "visits" and had mentioned the existence of the tapes to other people. The intruders made sure THEY TOOK THE "CLINTON-FLOWERS" TAPES after they finished the beating.
Kathy Ferguson, the ex-wife of Arkansas State Trooper Danny Ferguson, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head, in Sherwood, AR. On May 11, 1993, the right-handed Ferguson supposedly shot herself behind the left ear. It was labeled a suicide even though much of the forensic evidence does not support this finding. She died five days after her ex-husband, was named a co-conspirator in the Paula Jones case. Kathy had told friends that Clinton had sexually harassed her in a manner similar to that reported by Paula Jones. She purportedly had knowledge of Clinton's "regulars" and often talked about how Clinton had gotten Danny to bring women to him and stand watch while they had sex. Part of Danny's job was to make sure that each woman was ready and willing when she and Clinton got together. Kathy said she heard that Clinton was really mad when Paula Jones wouldn't "put out".
Bill Shelton, an Arkansas police officer and boyfriend of Kathy Ferguson at the time of her death, was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head, in Sherwood, AR. He was shot behind the ear which is usually the sign of an execution. His death was also labeled a suicide. Shelton was highly critical of the conclusion of local police that Kathy had committed suicide and he aired his complaints widely.
Sally Perdue, one of Clinton's "regulars", was offered a $60,000/year federal job to keep her mouth shut; or she would have her legs broken. When she did come forward, she received a series of threats; but luckily for her, the American press mostly ignored her.
The Dallas Morning News reported that the offices of The American Spectator magazine were broken into and ransacked twice in September of 1994 after David Brock returned to Washington, DC from Arkansas to write up his interview of the Arkansas State Troopers. There was also a September break-in at an apartment that the magazine keeps on the upper east side of Manhattan. The three break-ins during Sept. of 1994 are the only ones ever experienced by the magazine in its 27 year history.
Whitewater
People have been beaten and perhaps even killed for trying to expose the background of Webster Hubbell and the dealings of the Rose Law Firm of which he was a partner. Other famous partners in the firm were Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Vincent Foster.
James McDougalJames McDougal was serving his 3 year sentence for bank fraud at the Fort Worth Federal Medical Center in Texas, a facility operated by the federal Bureau of Prisons for inmates who need medical attention. Just prior to another round of testimony before Kenneth Starr's grand jury, Jim McDougal suffered a heart attack while in solitary confinement and died March 8, 1998. When Jim McDougal was taken out of solitary, instead of attempting to defibrillate his heart with equipment on hand at the facility, he was driven over to John Peter Smith hospital. Not the closest hospital to the Fort Worth Federal Medical Center, John Peter Smith hospital is a welfare hospital, where (in the words of one local) ,"They let interns practice on deadbeats".
The single most damning fact to come out of the McDougal death was his injection with Lasix, a diuretic, to force his giving a urine sample for drug testing, even though McDougal was not a known drug case, and Lasix is contra-indicated in cases of heart disease. Lasix can cause excessive diuresis, blood volume reduction, circulatory collapse, and vascular thrombosis, or blood clots. If a matching potassium supplement is not administered at the same time, Lasix can kill.
Vince Foster, a former partner in the Rose Law firm and White House aide, had just been served a subpeona and was supposed to testify about Whitewater. Instead of testifying, he died on July 20, 1993. A suicide note was supposedly found a few days later, torn into several pieces, in his briefcase, after his office had been entered by white house staff and materials removed. (The "suicide" note has since been revealed to be a forgery.) The suicide conclusion does NOT square with the testimony from the man who found the body (the Confidential Witness) or much of the forensic evidence. For example, the gun which he supposedly used to kill himself was reported to be still in his hand, but the person who first found the body reports that there was no gun. A signed report of Medical Examiner, Dr. Donald Haut was uncovered at the National Archives, proving that Foster had a previously unreported gunshot wound to his neck. And, an FBI memo has surfaced dated the day after the date of the official autopsy, in which the autopsies informs the FBI that there was NO exit wound.
I'm sure Bill Clinton was relieved when the Supreme Court ruled that the attorney-client privilege of confidentiality protects against disclosure of the notes even after a client’s death. That was the plan, after all, wasn't it?
The Associated Press:Vincent Foster: the death investigation that hasn't ended.
Jon Walker, an investigator for the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), mysteriously "fell" to his death from Lincoln Towers, in Arlington, VA. In March 1992, Walker contacted the Kansas City RTC office for information concerning the ties between Whitewater and the Clintons. He reportedly was looking into a 50 million dollar transfer from an RTC fund in Chicago to Madison Guaranty Savings & Loan to cover up a 47 million dollar embezzlement.
Johnny Franklin Laughton, Jr., and a friend hit a telephone pole at a high rate of speed, Mar. 29, 1998, after their car had become airborne and left the road. They had driven less than 1/4 of a mile at the time of the impact. In the spring of 1997, a tornado ripped through some junked cars at Johnny's transmission and opened up the trunk of a car that proved to have a box of Whitewater records in it, including a copy of a $27,000 cashiers check drawn on Madison and payable to Bill Clinton. Johnny Franklin Laughton, Jr. realized what he was looking at and turned the box of documents over to the FBI.
Campaign Finance
Betty CurrieThe night before White House secretary, Betty Currie, was to testify before the Campaign Finance hearing, her brother, Theodore Williams, Jr., was severely beaten and hospitalized (see Oregonian January 29, 1998 Page A9). Then within one month of her testifying in the Lewinsky Grand Jury her sister was killed in a car "accident" in December 1997.
Ronald Miller died October 12, 1997. Miller is a former co-owner of Creek Systems/Gage Corp., an Oklahoma natural gas company that alleged discrimination by corrupt utility regulators. A court case that could have proved damaging to high-ranking Democrats was averted at the last minute when the Lums helped to purchase Gage Corp. and drop the lawsuit. Miller tape recorded Gene and Nora Lum and turned those tapes (and other records) over to congressional oversight investigators. The Lums were sentenced to prison for campaign finance violations, using "straw donors" to conceal the size of their contributions to various candidates.
Reportedly a healthy man, Ron suddenly took ill on October 3rd, and steadily worsened until his deah 9 days later. (This pattern fits Ricine poisoning.) Owing to the strangeness of the illness, doctors at the Integris Baptist Medical Center referred the matter to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's Office who promptly ran tests on samples of Ron Miller's blood, but has refused to release the results or even to confirm that the tests were ever completed.
Ed Willey, the manager of the Clinton presidential campaign finance committee, died of a "self-inflicted" gunshot wound in Nov. '93. He was seen handling briefcases full of cash during the campaign. Mr. Willey died on the same day his wife was allegedly assaulted in the White House by Bill Clinton.
Barbara Alice Wise was employed in the same section of the Commerce Department which was the focus of illegal foreign fundraising. She was found dead in her office at Commerce's International Trade Administration on November 29, 1996.
Jerry Parks, the owner of a security firm that provided security for Clinton's presidential campaign, was gunned down, assassination style, on Sept. 26, 1993 in Little Rock. Now the dead man's son, Gary Parks, charges that his father, who ran American Contract Services Inc., was killed "to save Bill Clinton's political career." Interviewed in the London Telegraph, the younger Parks said "my dad was working on Clinton's infidelities for about six years, starting in the campaign around 1983," and had compiled two name-and-photo-filled files on Mr. Clinton that he kept hidden in his bedroom.
The Clinton campaign had failed to settle an outstanding debt to Parks for $81,000 at the time of his death. Parks' wife said her husband threatened to go public with his information if Clinton did not pay the bill. Parks' home was broken into only hours before he was murdered. THE ONLY THING TAKEN FROM HIS HOME WAS THE DOCUMENTATION HE HAD ON CLINTON'S "ACTIVITIES".
C. Victor Raiser II, the co-chairman of Clinton's presidential campaign finance committee, was killed in a plane crash on July 30, 1992 near Anchorage, AK, in good weather. With his inside knowledge of the Clinton operation, he had become disillusioned by what he had seen and thus became a potential liability.
The Democratic National Committee political director, Paul Tully, died from unknown causes in his hotel room in Little Rock on September 24, 1992. The Arkansas medical examiner's office ruled the death was because of a massive heart attack.
L.J. Davis, a veteran journalist, was knocked unconscious in a Little Rock hotel. Pages were stolen from his notebook that contained information on the inner workings of the Rose law firm. He later received threats to back off the story. Davis is a contributing editor for Harper's magazine and does free-lance writing for many publications.
Herschel Friday, a member of the Clinton presidential campaign finance committee, was killed when his plane crashed on Mar. 1, 1994 as he approached his private landing strip near his Arkansas home, in a light drizzle.
U.S. Commerce Secretary Ron Brown was killed when his plane crashed as it approached the Dubrovnik, Croatia airport. Brown had previously been under investigation by the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Commerce Department's Inspector General, the Justice Department, the FDIC, and the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee was within two weeks of possibly being indicted for an bribe allegedly paid by Dynamic Energy Resources in Oklahoma.
A few years ago, a Vietnamese official accused him of asking for a $700,000 or so bribe in exchange for using his influence with Clinton to get sanctions against Vietnam lifted and to open the country up to U.S. trade and investment. After apparently stalling on the issue, the Justice Department convened a grand jury to hear evidence, which could have resulted in a possible criminal indictment. Veteran investigative journalist Sherman Skolnick, commented that "There was jury-tampering by President Clinton and his Justice Department. The grand jury proceedings were supposed to be kept secret, yet Brown and his confederates were day by day illegally kept informed, so they could obstruct justice by bribing or terrorizing grand jury witnesses. Brown was not indicted......"
Brown made sure that Democratic leaders got the message: "I'm too old to go to jail. If I go down, I'll take everyone else down with me." That, of course, would include the Clintons. Brown's oft-repeated warning was clearly heard. Brown's threats may have become his own death warrant.
Brown's plane was probably relying on Croatian ground beacons for navigation. In the minutes before Brown's plane crashed, five other planes landed at Dubrovnik without difficulty, and none experienced problems with the beacons. But additional questions about the beacons and the crash will remain unanswered because, as the Air Force acknowledges, airport maintenance chief Niko Junic died by gunshot just three days after the crash and before he could be interviewed by investigators. Within a day of his death, officials determined the death was a suicide.
Dying along with Ron Brown on April 3, 1996, was Charles Meissner, Assistant Secretay of Commerce. Meissner reportedly had provided special security clearance to John Huang.
Air Force Tech. Sgt. Shelley Kelly, a stewardess, survived the crash for some four hours. Kelly and another stewardess had been seated in a jump seat at the very rear of the 737. That area was found basically intact after the crash. According to the Air Force, she received first aid from Croatian rescuers but died on the way to a nearby hospital. Her autopsy report states that Kelly died of a broken neck…"
Ron Brown's high level Muslim associate, Mohamed Ferrat was supposed to be on Ron Brown's doomed death flight, but he changed plans at the last minute. He later died on TWA Flight 800. Coincidence?
Terry Reed, co-author of, Compromised: Clinton, Bush, and the CIA received a death threat while signing copies at a Little Rock Wal-Mart. The book claims that Bill Clinton was involved in more than $9 million a week in cash being secretly air dropped into Arkansas while he was governor. The threat was slipped onto the front seat of his car according to Little Rock Police Information Report Number 94-53155.
Stanley Huggins, a partner in a Memphis law firm, was found dead on June 23, 1994 reportedly from viral pneumonia. Huggins headed a 1987 examination into the loan practices of Madison Savings & Loan. He produced a 300-400 page report that has never been made public.
Drug Smuggling Operations at Mena
Paul Wilcher, an attorney, was found dead in his Washington, D.C. home. The coroner either could not find or did not report the cause of death. At the time of his death, Wilcher was investigating gun-running and the drug business in Mena, AR. Shortly before his death he wrote a 105-page letter to Attorney General Janet Reno describing evidence that he allegedly had concerning Mena. The first page of his letter stated in part; "The lives of key participants, other witnesses, and even myself, are now in grave danger as a result of my passing this information on to you. If you let this information fall into the hands of the wrong persons... some or all of those who know the truth ...could well be silenced in the very near future."
Alder Berriman (Barry) Seal, the head of the cocaine smuggling operation at Mena airport, was murdered.
Florence Martin, an accountant who had worked as a sub-contractor for the CIA, was found dead in Mabell, TX, the victim of three gunshot wounds to the head. She had the documents and paperwork as well as the pin number to an account that had been set up in the name of Barry Seal for $1.46 million dollars at the Fuji Bank in the Cayman Islands.
Kevin Ives, a teenager who lived near Mena, AR, was run over by a train close to Mena. First ruled a suicide, a later autopsy showed he was murdered before he was run over by the train. He may have gotten too curious about air drops he had seen in the nearby countryside.
Don Henry, a friend of Kevin Ives, was also run over by the train on the same night. His death was initially ruled a suicide, too, but a later autopsy showed he was also murdered before he was run over by the train.
Keith Coney, an individual who claimed to have information about the deaths of Kevin Ives and Don Henry, was fleeing an attacker on his motorcycle, when he slammed into the back of a truck. Police ruled it a "traffic fatality".
Keith McKaskle, another person who claimed to have information about the Ives-Henry murders, was brutally stabbed to death in his home. He knew someone was after him so he had said goodbye to his friends and family.
Gregory Collins, another person who claimed to have information about the Ives-Henry murders, died from a shotgun blast in the face.
Jeff Rhodes, another person who claimed to have information about the Ives-Henry murders, was shot in the head. His burned body was found in the city dump, with his hands, feet, and head partially severed.
Richard Winters, another person who claimed to have information about the Ives-Henry murders, was killed by a man using a sawed-off shotgun.
Jordan Ketelson, another person who claimed to have information about the Ives-Henry murders, died of a shotgun blast to the head.

Died on Feb. 28, 1993, or perhaps "executed" by gunfire in the Waco, Texas assault on the Branch Davidians. All four were examined by a "private doctor" and died from nearly identical wounds to the left temple, so-called execution style. According to Linda Thompson, videotapes and other evidence indicates that none died from guns fired by Branch Davidians.
In the videotape by the American Justice Federation, "WACO II, the Big Lie Continues," Linda Thompson demonstrates that 15 shots were fired from six separate weapons into and out of a room into which three of the four agents had entered through a window. Four of these shots were fired from an overhead helicopter, at least two shots were fired into the room by an agent outside the window, firing an MP5 submachine gun, who also threw in a concussion grenade. In the autopsies of these agents, three had virtually identical wounds to the left temple that exited through the rear of the head, execution-style.
In his address to employees of the Treasury Department in the Cash Room on March 18, 1993, Clinton said: "My prayers and I'm sure yours are still with the families of all four of the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents who were killed in WACO -- Todd McKeehan and Conway Le Bleu of New Orleans; Steve Willis of Houston, and Robert Williams from my hometown of Little Rock. Three of those four were assigned to my security during the course of the primary or general election." However, the Little Rock, Arkansas office of the ATF confirmed that all four had at one point been bodyguards for Bill Clinton, three while he was campaigning for President, and while he had been governor of Arkansas.

All were killed Feb. 23, 1993, when their Army UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter crashed in Weisbaden, Germany. No cause was ever determined. All four men died May 19, 1993 when their helicopter crashed in the woods near Quantico, Va. A videotape made by a firefighter was seized by the Marines. All four men had escorted Clinton on his flight to the carrier Roosevelt shortly before their deaths.
Alan G. Whicher oversaw Clinton's Secret Service detail. In October 1994 Whicher was transferred to the Secret Service field office in the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City. Whatever warning was given to the BATF agents in that building did not reach Alan Whicher, who died in the bomb blast of April 19th 1995.
Luther Parks, head of Clinton's Gubernatorial security team in Little Rock, was gunned down in his car at the intersection of Chanaul Parkway and Cantrell Road, near Jacksonville, Arkansas on September 26, 1993. Parks was shot through the rear window of his car. The assailant then pulled around to the driver's side of Park's car and shot him three more times with a 9mm pistol.
His family reported that shortly before his death, they were being followed by unknown persons, and their home had been broken into (despite a top quality alarm system). Parks had been compiling a dossier on Clinton's illicit activities. The dossier was stolen. When news of the discovery of Vincent Foster's body came over the news, Parks is reported to have said,"Bill Clinton is cleaning house".

Shortly before six o’clock on the evening of December 19, 2008, a man standing outside his home in Lake Township, Ohio heard the whine of an engine in the sky above him.
Moments later two red lights broke through the low clouds, heading almost directly toward the ground. It was a light aircraft, and for a second, as it descended below the tree line, the man thought it would climb back up. Instead, there was a terrible thud, and the sky turned orange. When the fire crews arrived, they found the burning wreckage of a Piper Saratoga strewn across a vacant lot. The plane had narrowly missed a house, but the explosion was so intense that the home’s plastic siding was on fire. So was the grass. The pilot had been thrown from the plane and died instantly. Body parts and pieces of twisted metal were scattered everywhere. A prayer book lay open on the ground, its pages on fire.
The crash would have remained a private tragedy confined to the pages of the local press and the hearts of the pilot’s widow and four children, but within days the blogosphere was abuzz with rumors and conspiracy theories: The plane, it was said, had been sabotaged and the pilot murdered to cover up the GOP’s alleged theft of the Ohio vote in the 2004 presidential election. At the center of this plot was the Saratoga’s pilot, a prodigiously gifted IT expert named Michael Connell, whose altar boy charm and technical brilliance had made him the computer whiz of choice for the Republican Party. Left-wing Web sites openly referred to Connell as “Bush’s vote rigger” and claimed that his fingerprints were on all the most controversial elections in recent history. There were dark whispers of electronic pulses or sniper fire being used to bring down the plane—a black ops attack designed to keep him from testifying against his former cronies. Right-wing bloggers and talk show hosts derided such claims as the twisted delusions of liberal nut jobs and tinfoil hatters. The mainstream press sat on its hands.
But while the rumors, innuendos, and allegations continue to swirl through the ether, evidence has recently emerged that suggests the Ohio vote may have been hacked, and that Connell was involved.
Born in 1963 in Peoria, Illinois into a large Irish-American family, Michael Connell was a lifelong Republican and a devout Roman Catholic who went to Mass every day and wore a wristband saying what would jesus do? What Connell did was realize the potential of the Internet to shape politics. While still in his 20s, he worked as finance director for Republican Congressman Jim Leach, and as director of voter programs for Senator Dan Coats of Indiana. In 1988 Connell developed a voter contact database for George H. W. Bush, thus inaugurating a long association with the Bush family: Connell worked on Jeb’s gubernatorial campaign in Florida in 1998; two years later he was the chief architect of George W. Bush’s Web site as Dubya launched his bid for the White House.
But it was while serving as tech guru to Karl Rove that Connell developed his deepest and perhaps most problematic professional relationship. Recruited in the late ’80s, Connell became Rove’s most trusted cyberlieutenant: a Web wizard who could turn portals into power and who would gain access to the very heights of American politics by the time he reached 30 years old. Connell’s two Ohio-based companies, New Media Communications and GovTech, became virtual research and development labs for the Republican Party, building and managing Web sites and e-mail accounts for both Presidents Bush and a long list of leading Republicans. GovTech also designed and managed numerous Congressional IT systems, including those for the House Intelligence and Judiciary committees, putting Connell “behind the fire wall” of some of the most sensitive gov--ernment Web sites from the safety of the Bush White House.
“Mike was known as the GOP’s Mister Fix-It,” says Stephen Spoonamore, an IT security expert and friend of Connell’s. “He built really intelligent tools that allowed people who wanted to win elections do a better job organizing their data.” But aside from his more legitimate business, Connell was no stranger to the darker side of American politics. He was forced to resign from Senator Coats’ campaign for his involvement in ethical violations. Connell’s was also the hand behind the Web site for the notorious Swift Boat Veterans’ for Truth smear campaign against John Kerry and GWB43.com, the secret e-mail account used by Rove and dozens of other White House staffers.
Just six weeks before his death, Connell had given a deposition in an Ohio lawsuit that accused Rove, Bush, and Co. of something far more serious than merely scrubbing e-mails: the theft of the 2004 Ohio vote. “This is the biggest scandal in our history,” says Mark Crispin Miller, a professor at New York University who has written extensively about electronic voter fraud. “Watergate grew out of a paranoid attempt to disable the opposition. But Ohio was exponentially different. We’re talking about a systematic, centralized attempt to rig the voting system.”
“We decided to try to bring a racketeering claim against Rove under Ohio law,” says Cliff Arnebeck, the attorney who brought the suit, a broad-shouldered man with a Senatorial air dressed in a blue blazer. “We detected a pattern of criminal activity, and we identified Connell as a key witness, as the implementer for Rove.”
By any calculation, the Ohio 2004 election was a black day for American democracy. Lou Harris, known as the “father of modern political polling,” and a man not given to hyperbole, called it “as dirty an election as America has ever seen.” All the exit polls suggested Ohio would go to Kerry. But when the vote was counted George Bush had won by 132,685 votes, adding Ohio’s crucial 20 Electoral College votes to his tally. And putting him, not Kerry, into the White House. It has since been alleged that at several points on election night, the Ohio secretary of state’s official Web site, which was responsible for reporting the results, was being hosted by a server in a basement in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Ohio’s secretary of state in 2004 was a fiercely partisan Christian named Ken Blackwell. Blackwell had hired a company called GDC Limited to run the IT systems, which had subcontracted the job to Michael Connell’s company, GovTech. Connell had in turn sub-contracted SMARTech, an IT firm based in Chattanooga, to act, it was claimed, as a backup server.
“By looking at the URLs on the Web site, we discovered that there were three points on election night when SMARTech’s computers took over from the secretary of state,” says Arnebeck. “It is during that period that we believe votes were manipulated.”
In computer jargon it is known as a man-in-the-middle attack.
“At the time I didn’t know who SMARTech were,” says IT expert Stephen Spoonamore, opening a file on his computer showing the Internet architecture map of the 2004 Ohio election. He points to a red box in the bottom right-hand corner showing SMARTech’s server.
“Then I found out: They host Rove’s e-mails. They host the RNC’s Web site. They host George Bush’s Web site.” His voice rises in disbelief.
“I go, ‘Holy shit, this is a man-in-the-middle attack! These guys have programmed the state’s computers to talk to a company with ties to the Republican Party.’ It’s brilliant.”
With his wiry hair and designer glasses, Spoonamore looks like a character in a Tim Burton movie. A lifelong Republican, he is also one of the world’s acknowledged experts on cybersecurity, with a résumé that includes work for the U.S. armed forces and the FBI. In his spare time he has devoted thousands of hours to investigating cyberfraud in American elections. “I know I sound crazy when I talk about this stuff. No one wants to believe it. They say, ‘No one would steal an elec--tion.’ And I go, ‘Yeah, they would. And that’s exactly what they did.’ ”
Spoonamore believes that while Michael Connell may have facilitated electoral fraud, he was really just a tool of more powerful forces. “Mike has been called the Forrest Gump of GOP IT operations,” he says. “And I think there’s a truth to that. I think he was a good guy surrounded by wolves. He was always going to be the fall guy.”
The two men had gotten to know each other at Spoonamore’s Washington, D.C. offices in late 2005. “The two of us hit it off,” recalls Spoonamore. “We were the same age, the same generation. We had a lot of friends in common.” At the end of the meeting, Connell broached a delicate topic. “Mike asked me, ‘How easy is it to destroy all records of e-mail?’ ” recalls Spoonamore. “He sort of gestured toward the White House and said, ‘Because I have clients down the street who are working on that problem.’ And I stepped back and said, ‘If you are talking about White House e-mail destruction, I want nothing to do with it.’ ”
A year later, at an IT conference in London, Spoonamore confronted the pro-life Connell about the Ohio election: “He said, ‘I’m afraid that in my zeal to save the babies, the system I built may have been abused.’ ”
Three days later, in the back of a cab heading toward the airport, Spoonamore asked Connell if he would be willing to talk to a Congressional judiciary committee about what he knew. “I actually took Mike’s hand and said, ‘If I can arrange for a private meeting for you to sit down with the committee and explain what you think may have happened in 2004 and how your systems may have been abused, will you do it?’ And he said, ‘Yes.’ ”
Connell never did talk to the judiciary committee. But in the months leading up to his death he was under intense pressure. In an attempt to extricate himself from the world of politics, he had sold two of his businesses, including GovTech. Throughout the fall his plane was being tracked by Arnebeck and his associates so they could serve him with a subpoena. Connell sought refuge from the maelstrom in his deep Catholic faith. He took to wearing a scapular, two squares of cloth with religious images favored by devout Catholics, under his shirt. He went to Mass twice a day and became more directly involved with the pro-life movement, spending weekends standing outside abortion clinics. He traveled to Burma and Thailand to work with religious dissidents and started a Catholic charity in El Salvador.
Finally, on October 8, 2008, Connell was served with his subpoena at College Park Airfield outside Washington, D.C. Seven weeks later his Piper Saratoga would fall from the sky.
On December 18, Connell flew to D.C. to meet with the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic men’s organization, about starting a new branch and rebuilding their Web site. He stayed the night at a hotel, got up early to attend Mass and then a breakfast meeting. At about 11 a.m., Connell went to College Park Airfield to prepare to fly home to Akron. His firm, New Media Communication, was holding its Christmas party that evening, and he didn’t want to miss it. An experienced pilot with more than 500 hours of flight time under his belt, Connell waited for the weather to clear. Shortly after 3:30 p.m., he called his wife, Heather, in Ohio to say he had his “window.” He took off at 3:51 p.m.
At first everything went fine. On his approach to Akron-Canton Regional Airport, he asked the tower if there were any reports of icing and was told there were not. It was certainly dark and cold, with cloud cover at 1,000 feet, but the plane had a sophisticated autopilot system that would normally bring it onto the runway, like a homing pigeon. But at 3,200 feet, as Connell began his descent, air traffic control radioed to say he was off course by several miles. Connell radioed that he would correct his position. Something seemed to be wrong with the lateral controls.
The audiotapes of Connell’s last communications with the tower suggest a rising sense of panic and confusion. Realizing that he is still off course, he asks to do a 360-degree turn “to reestablish ourselves.” It’s an unusual maneuver at this late stage of the approach, and the flight controller denies the request. Instead, he advises Connell to “climb and maintain 3,000 feet.” Seconds later there is a loud rushing sound as the cockpit bursts open and the engine goes haywire. Connell screams, “Nine nine November declaring an emergency!” Out of respect for his religious beliefs—and his children—the tower reported that his last words were, “Oh, God!” In fact, he cries out, “Oh, fuck!” Then the tape goes dead.
Capt. Lorin Geisner of the Greentown Fire Department was the first person to arrive at the scene. “We received a 911 call, so we contacted the tower and asked what size plane it was and how many souls were on board,” he recalls. “But we were informed that the tower was in lockdown and that no information was available.”
According to sources, there were other anomalies. Normally, a night crash scene would be roped off and investigated in daylight. In this case representatives of the NTSB and FAA used light towers to photograph and document the scene. Connell’s plane was hastily removed to a secure hangar under cover of darkness. By 6 a.m. the investigators had vanished, leaving behind them a trail of debris, and one very angry widow.
“How is this OK?” asks Heather Connell, pulling a chunk of metal from a cardboard box she had brought in from the garage. She is kneeling on the floor of her husband’s basement office, a tidy space decorated with sleek black office furniture. A photo of a 25-year-old Connell with George H. W. Bush sits on the bookshelf next to an action figure of Dubya decked out in fighter pilot garb. A cascade of frizzy blonde hair tumbles forward over Heather’s face. Her eyes are red from crying. “They think this is part of the foot pedal.”
When I ask how she met her husband, she starts to hum the ’80s hit “Don’t You Want Me.” “She was working as waitress in a cocktail bar...” Then her voice falters. “That much is true. We met in Indiana. He was working for Senator Coats, and I was going to college and working at a sports bar. He was with a bunch of interns who came in. I carded every one of them and was in the process of kicking him out of the bar.” She gives a throaty chuckle. “He was used to people fawning over him, and I think he liked me because I was mean.”
“I didn’t go to the crash site on the night he died,” she says, picking another piece of debris from the box. As her husband began his final descent, Heather and the rest of the staff gathered at a restaurant for the company’s annual Christmas party. “I got a message that his plane had landed,” she recalls, choking back tears. “So I kept calling and calling.” She winces at the memory. “This is making me sick again.” Leaning back in her chair, she takes a drag of a cigarette. “They told me the plane had crashed and that he was dead, but I didn’t want to believe it. I thought maybe he was on the way to the hospital, so I didn’t go to the crash site until December 26.” Her left nostril spasms. “I have pieces of my husband’s brain!” she cries. “I picked them up with my hands six days after the crash. Chunks of his skin and internal organs. How is that a proper investigation? How is that acceptable? How dare they leave pieces of my husband lying there!”
She pulls out another storage box filled with personal items from the crash site: $50 in cash; a charred prayer book with a note inside it reading, “I love you”; a Mickey Mouse dollar bill. Something important is missing, though. “Why do I have his earpiece?” she asks, pulling out the Jawbone headset of a BlackBerry. “This was in his backpack. And the backpack was zipped. So where’s his phone?”
“He always clips them next to each other,” interjects her 15-year-old daughter, Lauren. It’s an important detail because it suggests that the BlackBerry may have been intentionally removed from the backpack. On it were hundreds, if not thousands, of sensitive files and e-mails relating to Karl Rove and the Bush administration.
“I want to know where my husband’s phone is,” Connell says angrily. “It’s my responsibility as a mother and a spouse to find out what happened. And I will not accept ‘Cause of crash unknown.’ I will not.”
Though she is furious at the NTSB, she has no time for the conspiracy theories. While she admits that Connell was disillusioned with politics, she bridles at any suggestion that he could have been involved with vote rigging. “With Mike there was religion, family, and a love for democracy,” she says firmly. “He would never interfere with the democratic process. That’s just ridiculous.”
Connell’s younger sister isn’t so sure. “I knew he worked for the Bushes,” says Shannon Connell. The two siblings had diametrically opposed views—Shannon Connell is a pro-Obama liberal—but they never allowed this to come between them. “We stayed close despite the political differences. He was my brother.”
She doesn’t know whether Connell helped steal elections. If he did, she says, it was because of his passionate anti-abortion views. “I think he was convinced he was doing good—to save the babies,” she says. “That’s the only thing my sisters and I can come up with.
“Mike had been deposed, but he hadn’t been called as a witness yet,” she says of the possibility that her brother was murdered. “He was incredibly loyal to the people he worked for, but he would never have lied under oath. For want of a better expression, I think they played him. His death would have been a really nice Christmas present for Rove and Cheney.
“I am beyond looking for justice,” she says, resigned. “I just want the truth to be known. But I am not counting on it.” She may be right.
After more than nine months, the factual report into Connell’s crash had still not been made public. According to an NTSB spokesperson, it was “still being reviewed.” That’s scant comfort to Connell’s family, who just want some sense of closure, whatever the outcome.
Still, “In my mind and my heart,” says Shannon Connell, “I am convinced he was murdered.”
We may never know the truth about Connell’s last flight, but contracts between Connell’s company, GovTech, and Ken Blackwell’s administration establish a credible scenario for electoral fraud and place Connell at the scene of the alleged crime.
Among other things, the contracts contradict Connell’s sworn testimony that SMARTech, in Chattanooga, merely acted as a backup site for election data.
The contracts, signed in March 2004, show that SMARTech was specifically tasked with creating a “mirror site” to manage election night results.“What this means is that Connell’s company was on both sides of the mirror,” explains Stephen Spoonamore. “And that the votes of the people of Ohio were in the control of a fiercely partisan IT company (SMARTech) and operating out of another state.”
Clouding matters further is the persistent specter of paranoid conspiracy that has enveloped the case from the beginning. In September 2009, an anonymous letter was sent to the FBI in Ohio and five other addressees, including Heather Connell. “Enclosed is a document that is not meant to exist,” begins the anonymous writer. Included is what purports to be an “after action report” by a black ops agent. All names have been redacted, but the report provides a detailed time log of actions taken to install an AMD (microprocessor) in the engine of Connell’s plane at College Park Airfield in D.C. the night before he made his fatal last flight. Connell himself is not mentioned by name. Just the registration number of his plane, NP299N, which the agent confirms he had been sent to “neutralize.” The letter accompanying the report is headed MICHAEL CONNELL, HOMICIDE. It ends with the words: “Connell was not NST (national security threat).”
While skeptics may be tempted to dismiss these documents as the ingenious work of a hoaxer intent on pouring gasoline on the bonfire of conspiracy theories already surrounding Connell, a number of experts from the intelligence community who have seen the document believe it to be genuine.
In early November, the NTSB finally released its factual report into Connell’s crash. The report concludes that tests carried out on the plane’s engine, flight control, and autopilot systems revealed “no anomalies that would have precluded normal operation.”
A spokeswoman for the NTSB confirmed that the organization had received a copy of the anonymous letter, but would not say whether its claims were being looked into. “We’re investigating the accident,” she says, “not any possible criminal activity.” She adds that the NTSB forwarded the letter to the FBI in Cleveland. When asked to confirm this, Scott Wilson at the FBI’s Cleveland bureau, says, “The only thing I can say is...I can’t say anything.”
Ultimately, only a full criminal investigation can determine the truth about Ohio ’04 and the death of Michael Connell. Robert Kennedy Jr., who sought Connell’s cooperation during an investigation into the election, believes the current administration should pursue the matter. “I think this is more serious than Watergate,” he says. “Watergate was essentially about winning the battle for public opinion. That’s why the break-in took place—to gather strategic information about Democratic strategy and dirt. But the electoral process remained intact. The Ohio vote undermines the very foundation stone of American democracy. There should be an official investigation. Otherwise this becomes a blueprint for how to steal an election from here to eternity.”
That may not be enough for Connell’s widow. When I first spoke to her on the phone, Heather Connell was adamant that her husband’s plane crash had been an accident, God’s will. But she is no longer so sure. “This is a messed-up case of whether Karl Rove threatened my husband or not,” she says. I ask her directly if she now believes her husband could have been murdered. She takes a deep drag of her cigarette and, choking back tears, says: “I don’t know. I don’t know.”
