Did he say consumerism was a bad thing? That sounds like socialism. We should all learn a lesson from what socialists have done to our world from the past. muchtyman, I see that you are from Scotland. If I'm not mistaken, Scot's are known to be some of the best capitalists in the world, so why is what he is saying doesn't grate your very nerve!!!! (My family came from Scotland 140 years ago.)

I get the impression that he is against state tyranny regardless of political persuasion .

ps. Unfortunately , more than half of the workforce in Scotland are employed by the state , entrepreneurship is dying here .

Sorry to hear that, truly one of the best nations with such a rich history going to the wayside. So many inventors and writers whose past may not even matter in the future. A true tragedy.

I haven't watched the vid, I'm too busy getting ready to cram a bunch of Bulgarian, African, Argentinian and British faces full of juicy 4th of July American hamburgers. Consuming tasty burgers is fine, as long as they are home-made and cooked with love.
