The Many different witness's saw different time stages of the craft, most witness's say they saw a solid craft fly overhead. While some witness's that were farther away could not tell whether the object was Solid or not because of the dark aircraft and the fact that it was Nighttime outside and distance away forbid them of seeing any detail.

The fact that some witness's claimed to have seen 2 extra lights that were docking and un-docking from the craft, this case is real as there have been earlier footage that shows a similar thing being done only it wasn't broadcast as publicly the march 13 1997 lights.

I have studied with an extreme amount of time the Phoenix lights, and I can honestly say that whatever those Thousands of people saw across those states and Phoenix saw the same object, as if you watch the video it is hard to understand what you are seeing, when witness's tell you what they saw ( besides the 2 un-docking lights) they say that you can tell it was a solid object and the lights went in like a canteen light (Inset lights), the color and radiance of color was not like a light bulb they all seem to describe, it seemed more like a circling plasma that came from the individual light sets...

anyways I am convinced that what was at Phoenix was an Actual Alien Craft, the capabilities of man driving something a mile wide let alone hiding a mile wide object in a building or even in a base would seem very far fetched, for sake of anonymity...

All in all I can say is that the Phoenix lights is one of the best cases of Ufo's that has ever happened, you have 10,000 witness's but not only did the same thing happen once, it happened 4 times before and since then, also it was seen in multiple states which doesn't happen to often.

Please Check out the 2007 Phoenix Lights and the 2008 Phoenix lights as well, this has happened more than once, and I think the area they have chosen was chosen for a reason.... (Saucer crash at Roswell) maybe a crash and retrieval? but that is a wide range of speculation.
