Photo anomalies -- Taken 11/05/10

So here's a short backstory here. I had highlights put in my hair Friday (11/05/10). They turned out awful
, but the shop was closing and I was tired so I just went home for the night (and went back Saturday to have them fixed). Well, Friday night I had my husband take some pictures of the top of my head to send to my mom (my mom is my hairdresser), so she could see how bad they looked when my hair was dried and straightened.
He was having a hard time getting a clear shot, because of some sort of "mist" that was fogging up the picture, so he turned the flash on, and that mist became a huge line of orbs. SO WEIRD!
The images are big so I'm just posting links.

orbs 1 http://i56.tinypic.com/sgub1c.jpg
orbs 2 http://i52.tinypic.com/b3uel0.jpg
Don't mind the totally unflattering angle.
What do you guys think?
Info: They were taken on my iPhone 4. The "mist" shots were without flash, "orb" pictures are with flash. All 4 were taken in the same spot -- my hallway. Here's a picture of my dog taken on my phone as well, just for reference: http://i52.tinypic.com/r7ov21.jpg

Sorry darlin, I'm in agreeance with the majority. if you have any sort of light at any sort of angle to the front of a camera lens you're going to have light interference. professional lenses have attachable lens hoods, which effectively extend the lens housing around the glass, so that no light strikes it. you can emulate this with a hand, if you cup your hand around the lens or camera to block the light, just make sure your hand isn't in the frame.
you are standing in your pictures, was your husband standing on something else to get the photo? perhaps if he was standing on something, the added elevation brought a light into a bad angle with the camera?
You moved into the livingroom, could you see any of the same lights or windows from the new vantage point?

I was crouched down, and he was at his normal height (6'1"). It probably was lights and stuff like everyone said, but I've taken hundreds of pictures in the hallway and never had this happen. Plus the fact that it kept happening was weird to me.
tbh, I'm glad it's nothing spooky. I'm a chicken!
lol
Hey, never say never. Usually, in your own house, if you see something strange happening, you should know your house well enough, to know it's not normal.
I would try to recreate the picture, in the same spot, same lighting, and try to get the same effect.
it's entirely possibly you did have a ghostly visitor =P
I noticed though, in both angles of the orbs, the photos are different, but the orbs are almost exactly the same. they didn't move at all, which speaks of them coming from a solitary light source. if they were a physical object, they would, most likely, change position in various photos.
i do notice something that's possibly odd. when i get home later i'll pull these images into photoshop to know for sure, but the 'orbs' appear to not be round, and are very similar in size. usually lens flare is very round, or atleast curved with a circular edge. I can't be certain till i play with the pictures contrast, but they appear to be more oblong than round... again, could mean nothing, but i'll investigate alittle further later.

the first 2 pictures is nothing more than high ISO (distorted pixels)+ shaking with camera.
the next 2 pictures : very little distorted pixels = less higher ISO. You used flash in dark room, i can see your hair reflecting the flash back at the lens. Or there is another lightsource somewhere (could be wrong, just my opinion). I also think you made the pictures yourself with a digital camera with the automatic function :p or your husband is a terrible photographer:p
