thanks Mob, Socks,Hawk. it's been an awful day. i buried him in my mam's back garden this afternoon. 18 plus years old, so he had a good innings to say the least. at least he was cuddled in my arms and looking into my eyes when he went, which i count as a blessing. his troubles are over now
