your post or that article link. Ill start with the link.
Since you shared it, I'll assume youve read some of it.
If you read only a part, read the rest. Goes for all of you.
"I know that I was having an intense revelation, one that I can not talk about here, but one I remember every time I use DMT, the revelation was one of Ultimate Realness, that is all I can say. " - dude in article -
Each time i read something by someone who really nails it..well the better term is 'sees it'..i can instantly tell whos bullshitting or not. And this guy isnt. And the MOST odd factor, in all the paralel experiences ive had or read about like this guy's..is that quote.
Almost to a person, the few people i personally know who've done it and received the similar vision, say exactly the same thing..They are not allowed to talk about it. Its when someone says that, is when my ears REALLY perk up..because for some reason, weve all been told the same thing. Like its a rule or something. In some senses, its becuase what you find out is so intensely personal, that you cannot bear to make it public, but there is also a 'rule' sense..and i think ive violated it. I worry about it occasionally, because ive put my entire experience to type and shared with this universe of people who take it, and this certain TYPE of vision, one thats more real than visionary, and its changed every single one of them.
Integration is another tricky matter altogether.
Sometimes its easier to put if off as as funky synapse firing..but all of us?
Tens of thousands?
And then on to the astral..
These experiences, in my case, salvia, precipated the astral world.
Made it more instantly accessible for months after. Prior, i had used meditation, after..it wasnt necessary. LIke a shortcut..but with a price.
Many of the visits were involuntary, many were not. Theres something to that too, that is separate, yet connected to the dmt/salvia thing. For me, salvia unlocked the ablity to get to Theta sleep almost instantly and for three months i was beaten down nightly with the richest tapestry of lucid dreams, sleep paralysis, accidental and willed OBE travel, and epic, REALLY epic time spanning 'reality replacement dreams" where i would dream a span of time and live someone elses life (and be aware of the time span inside the dream)...what is called 'The Second Awakening"..
I enjoy those the most, although they are the most frightening..being plopped in, living as someone else, trying to know what youre supposed to be doing, when zapped into this crazy situation, when other people are looking at you, you wonder if they know you arent who they think you are...but you have to play along as that other person. And regardless of your specific beliefs in souls/spirits..the metaphysical..you have now experienced something that MUST be explained (since there was a comeple physical experience attached to it)..so to a degree, it gets categorized as metaphysical, but again, since we can only judge experiences on our observations, what do you do when all FIVE of your senses get fool, even with verification systems in place..??? Well, then you have to create a new category.."Ultra-Real"..
And almost every person that has dipped behind that veil, accidentally, and chemically pushed, sees ..the...same....damn...thing. (mostly) yes there are variations on a theme, but overall..were talking 90%+.
I have no other way to explain it other than giving me an appreciation for the ideas that souls are not connected to bodies, that mine sticks around and is just on a journey that lasts infinity, and that spirit and soul may be slightly different mechanical objects as well..Now there are three of me?? Wha?? which line are we living now? Which is the real, and which is the dream? Or since i can witness both..then, where am I??? Which one am i? Am i the will? The ID? The ego? The Watcher with no voice, only eyes that record everything? Or the one that would like some ice cream, and plays a guitar? Is my anger at worldly unjustice my spirit or my soul or my EGO? Is my participation in petty annoyance the playful spirit or the Devilish ego?
When i fuck, am i a spirit at play in the heavenly fields of the lord, or am i committing lust on someone elses avatar, and neither of us are really here..??? (and im not talking biblical sin either, im talkin the real deal..the maya of "fuck")
See?..we affectionately call that the "Rabbit Hole".
No, you cant just climb out, but that because we got something really heavy on our pockets, and i guess we cant trade that for the world anymore..
It sounds nuts, and it is nuts, and at a certain point, my dreams (normal sleep cycle, working a full time job) became so complete and real that it was hard to know when i was actually waking up.. So i took castanedas warning, to walk away when you notice yourself getting Astonished..
"Because some old indians get Astonished in there...
they just keep traveling walking and never come back." -
Castaneda "The Eagles Gift"
*side note
I found the Eagles Gift while on the search to explain the experience i had of being dismembered by wires, or knives...and i cam across the story of the eagle..
The Eagle would be at the entrance of death, and was so big it covered the whole sky, so that you thought it was night, But then..after a bit... you could see feather details, and right after, your mind would manage to focus on the subtle details of the Black Eagles Body in this near darkness and recognise what it is, and how large it is..and if at that point of Realizing you were looking at the cosmic eagle...if you became afraid, you would be shredded by the talons, but if you didnt get afraid or astonished, you would pass effortlessly through a wall of talons as thick as briar bushes. And the passageway was exactly shaped to your body, so if you even panic Breathed, youd get stuck..if you bolted, youd be shredded to hamburger..(i bolted, for the record)
Well, that is what i experienced exactly, so when i read that from castaneda,
i took a FEW things he said, to heart..
And that even though i cant put my finger on it,
theres an important lesson in these molecules..but that seeing it before you're naturally supposed to (at natural death) may have a price, but it might also be a boon.
(ie..if you Practice Dying you wont be afraid of the one thing we're all really actually afraid of...at the 'no bullshit' level.)
i guess is the short version of what ive been rambling about..
lol
wheeeee
Yeah, Castaneda's eagle was a meaningful analogy for me, too.

Now this is some Gold.................
really interesting low , thanks for sharing your experiences ,
you raised so many issues that i don't know on what to
concentrate with this replay .
imo totally relates to another thing you said in later post :
because that's the point , this kind of experiences let's say metaphorically
let you see beyond the veil (maybe even not so metaphorically) ,
but after you come back , the most tricky part is to integrate your
experience into the "ordinary" daily life .
and if you do it excessively like i did then you are fucked , reality doesn't
make sense anymore .
because once you "dive" in those deep waters of consciousness you wont be the same .
which leads to another thing you said .
now , this is something that took me a while to understand , when i was new to
this kind of experiences i was exactly the opposite from this .
i felt that i have the duty to share the experience with as much persons as i can ,
i actually felt a need to do that , it took me a while to understand ,and it was
a valuable lesson, but now i think that sharing these experiences somehow fucks up
with the free will of people ,some individuals just don't want to know about it ,
maybe they cant even start to realize it .
it's all part of us imo .
now that's interesting , because it represents the death and rebirth that is part of
all most every shamanic practices on earth .
in many shamanic rituals this is the main goal , it symbolize the (temporary)
dismemberment of your physical body and ego .
although for me Castaneda's eagle wasn't a fitting analogy to this experience .
i never experienced the dismemberment of the ego in the way you describe ,
for me it wasn't such a violent procedure ,it felt like more comfortably removing the shells .
i have to say that you reach some point with DMT and Salvia when you feel full .
you realize the experience but you just don't feel the need to do it again .
one of the most profound thing in the DMT experience imo is that it feels so familiar ,like
when you there for the first time you say ,hey I've been here before ,all most like honey
i'm home kind of feeling
.
you raised so many issues that i don't know on what to
concentrate with this replay .
Its the drug that humans are NOT supposed to use.
Along with Salvia.
That however, is not a condemnation, its a warning.
A friendly, encouraging/discouraging one.
You shouldnt take either of them,
but if you do...its all on you.

The experience can run the entire gamut from unified cosmic bliss to unrelenting,
eternal satanic/secular hell...complete with things 'not you'. Or maybe its all part of you..

Good posts, you guys.
Every time I do psychedelics I feel the same way, like coming home, or like waking up from the dream of daily awareness into the real world.
I haven't done the DMT thing, I guess I must try it someday, maybe soon.
Most of my psychedelic experience has been limited to LSD, psilocybin and peyote, though "limited" doesn't seem like the right word, somehow...
I recognize, however, that DMT is inherently a completely different type of experience.
I think I can handle it because I've never been really integrated since I did a tab of Owsley's Yellow Sunshine about 40 years ago

Carlos Castaneda, The Fire from Within, 1991, 3. The Eagle's Emanations, p. 44 wrote:"Genaro is the one who should be here telling you about the Eagle," he said, "except that his versions are too irreverent. He thinks that the seers who called that force the Eagle were either very stupid or were making a grand joke, because eagles not only lay eggs, they also lay turds."
Don Juan laughed and said that he found Genaro's comments so appropriate that he couldn't resist laughter. He added that if the new seers had been the ones to describe the Eagle the description would certainly have been made half in fun.

Visualizing the “good city” which has come to mean to me the visionary work of Paolo Soleri's arcology and Richard Register's ecocity, I realized the need for a new type of “container” to house humanity. Such a visionary container is radically different than the pattern of development of civilization thus far--a civilization type that is quickly leading humanity down the road of species termination due in most simple terms to overconsumption of the natural resources in our increasingly overpopulated and over militarized world.
Even though I had seen Paolo Soleri's version of an arcology, a vertical, contained city design, I was not satisfied with its appearance, social structure, and other factors. Then, when I came upon Anodea Judith's Wheel of Life, a book outlining the ancient chakra energy system within the human body, I noticed the potential for the use of chakrology in the design of a new kind of arcology.
Making the analogy between the various internal organs in the human body and the internal parts of an ecocity, such as the transportation system or the communication networks, I received a clear image of the future. Taking the analogy one step further, by understanding the chakra system to be a map of holistic health, I saw that different chakras not only represent different levels of the ecocity but different spheres of the Earth and the Universe (see below).
Our present urban sprawl cities, which reflect carcinogenic tumors more than healthy containers for human life, are woefully inadequate for the visualization of an ecocity. One must use the third eye chakra that transcends our current political, social, economic, and environmental chaos in order to see a truly new and harmonious city. The purpose of the architecture of yoga is to provide a map of the interiorization of arcology, so that we can begin to map our way out of the species catastrophe that threatens our very survival. Arcology can and must be built by adapting this ancient spiritual mapping system.
Much of the chakra map below was compiled by Judith and other internet chakra chakrologists. What I have contributed to the map is the architectural component needed to move us from a Type 0 civilization of economic and ecological break down to a Type 1 civilization that solves global problems through building a network of arcologies.
In America, yoga has emerged as a major alternative practice involving inner knowledge and self reflection. If we can begin to incorporate the architecture of yoga as part of a meditation practice, we will evolve the purpose of yoga from the individual to the social, and specifically the architectural. As more and more of us begin to practice the architecture of yoga meditation, the closer we will be to creating the force needed to manifest an ecocity that frees the human spirit from ages of oppression, slavery, and war.
The architecture of yoga will also allow a new morphic field to arise. A morphogenic field is a non-material field that guides the physical formation of organisms and their cultures.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigo wrote:Indigo
Indigo is the color on the electromagnetic spectrum between about 420 and 450 nm in wavelength, placing it between blue and violet. Although traditionally considered one of seven divisions of the optical spectrum, modern color scientists do not usually recognize indigo as a separate division and generally classify wavelengths shorter than about 450 nm as violet.[2]
Like violet, whether indigo is considered a shade of purple depends on context. Common English usage defines purple as any color between red and blue whereas in color theory, purple is defined as any non-spectral color between violet and red. Thus indigo and violet fit the common but not the color theory definition of purple.
One can see spectral indigo by looking at the reflection of a fluorescent tube on the underside of a non-recorded compact disc. This occurs because the CD functions as a diffraction grating, and a fluorescent lamp generally has a peak at 435.833 nm (from mercury), as is visible on the fluorescent lamp spectrum.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigo_children wrote:Indigo children - Origins
The term indigo children originates with parapsychologist and self-described synesthete and psychic, Nancy Anne Tappe, who first described the concept in the 1970s. Tappe published the book Understanding Your Life Through Color in 1982 describing the concept, stating that during the mid 1960s she began noticing that many children were being born with "indigo" auras (though in other publications Tappe has said the color indigo came from the "life colors" of the children which she acquired through her synesthesia).
