Yes that is true also.
Probably they mean just pizza that actually contain vegetables.
But I really think they just do this insane announcement to sell more pizza.
Maybe the industry is having some economic difficulties.

I agree that a tomato is a fruit, but....

In 1883, the Congress of America levied a 10% tax on all imported vegetables and decided to reclassify the tomato as a vegetable. Contested in 1893 by a botanist who lost his case, arguing that it is in reality a berry fruit. Since then the tomato has been legally classified a vegetable.

The only vegetable that people put on a pizza would be spinach. Nothing else is a vegetable.
