My brother and most of his family are all facebook addicts, :top: He wakes up to it, he goes to sleep on it, i bought into for a while until i realsied that the people i knew on it were on it because i have nothing in common with them excpet we all went to the same school, i couldnt wait to get away from the majority of them, i just forgot i felt that way about them in the first place....
Now that it has become a multi million dollar business its even more reason to keep away from it, to the powers who run it only see you as a commodity, and to be perfectly frank i resent the thought of being thought of as such....

I think I'll stick with Facebook, since it's easier to keep in touch with the peripherals of my social life without wasting vast amounts of time "connecting" with these people... But then again I check Facebook maybe 2-3 times a day at most, spending no more than a few minutes on it each time... It really is not in any danger of taking over my life... I probably only talk with about 5% of my "friends" on there, I probably only take an active interest in maybe 20%, but a majority of people on my Facebook are old friends, people who live at impractical distances & family members, I can think of no better way of sharing pictures of my son with family and friends than Facebook. :peep:

Collapse is a series of events that sometimes span years.
Each event increases in volatility over the last event,
but as time goes on these events tend to condition the masses.
