Yes it stinks, and yes excessive force was used, but do we know why the police were even engaging with him? why was his I.D was being requested? he is clearly not stopping for the officer as you can see hes going straight to the lift, once inside the lift you can see him step towards the officer and push him, so far we have refusal to show I.D, refusing to stop, assaulting a police officer. Shame there is no audio.
And before you start im not condoning what has happened, that is no excuse to get your head smashed in and beaten to a pulp, and i hope apropriate action is taken upon the officer , im just asking why the police wanted to speak with him in the first place. Has he just taken part in a crime? if he had done nothing wrong then why walk away? why not show your I.D? why refuse to stop? why assault an officer that can shoot to kill, if your innocent of any crime? to be honest if he is a rapist or sex offender veteran or not, then yep he desereved everything he got IMO
Peace

I feel sorry for the good police. They really need to start policing their own ranks or else sooner or later they will be just as responsible for this bullshit. They are being demonized by the actions of their fellow officers in the same uniform. That is why their "boys in blue" fraternal atmosphere has been fashioned, so that they do not police their own. Sooner or later they will be the bad guys in the hearts and minds of a large percentage of the population and I know most of them do not want that.
Their inaction against their own will remove their own personal innocence though for that is the same thing as passive support of those types of actions by their own.
That is the point of this Time, we can no longer be passive. Passivity is negligence and thus guilty.
