Pornography on Dtv

Im not a a prude and I am responsible for a good deal of the profanities on Dtv, however how can members and mods preach or decide what makes a family forum/ thread and then allow a thread to run that contains links to pornagraphic material... I Iam aware that different mods have different views on what is family friendly, however porn in any form definitely is not... My post isnt even about the porn really its about calling Dtv a family friendly site when it could never fulfil that promise and continue to be the forum that it is in its present form... Censorship is a strong word and I am not foolish enough to believe that Dtv is uncensored... I live in the uk, I know about censorship and surveillance, we are the most censored and watched country in the western world.. My point is that I personally do not believe that Dtv can ever be a family friendly forum and if we believe that it can be then I would expect this to be another nail in the coffin leading to Dtvs expiration..

Sorry scott, dont know why it ended up in this section.. Would a mod please place this post in the correct forum for me if possible... I dont want to be a hypocrite and post the link but you will find it in the Propaganda At DTV, The Ones who are allowed to spread it! post

I know I had to cool my jets on DTV during daytime hours. I don't want my wee ones seeing girl on girl pic's or repedative ass jiggling as well as boobies, when I check the topics area. But that is my decision, as for DTV, I'm glad it's here and it has good info as well as some not so good info. Peace

since when have government conspiracies, aliens, alternative histories, genocide, murder, agents, secret socieites, corruption, and world war investigations EVER been family friendly, maaaaan ? really?

but yes, good point about the pornography, even though i'm not a family man (yet) myself, some users avatars are really very... distracting.

I agree, Why then is Dtv being classed by some mods and members as a supposedy family friendly site, therefore locking and deleting and complaining about threads that they deem to be non family friendly... We cant have it both ways so where does This community move on to from this point.. The mods or the admin would find it extremely hard to censor post and thread content( not a good idea on a supposedly free talking site like this anyway) and I do agree before anybody else makes the point that extreme content can be found by any intelligent child on numerous sites across the web... Can people keep on kidding themselves then that this is a family friendly forum and use that excuse as another excuse for locking certain threads or posts or complaining about innappropriate content.. I would be the first to say that I cant see where the reasoning for putting hardcore porn on a site like this...I personally havent come across an avatar that I would consider pornagraphic.

It's DTV, allegedly there are no rules.

that is what the thread (where the picture was embedded) was about, what is acceptable and what isn't?

I got no answer, but to ignore it and basically to post what I want because rules don't apply anymore, or they do but only when (X) happens.....?

personally it's a human body, and we all have one, while some things maybe smaller, and a bit thicker around the love handles, we have all seen one....
