You guys and your gun control paranoia kill me. Gun control programs work just fine in nearly every other country in the world AND GUESS WHAT, if you need them, you can still own guns in most of these countries. Sure, there may be limitations to the types of weapons you can own but the idea is to limit access to some of the most dangerous weapons, which no one really needs any way.

But yeah its all a conspiracy to take away your big guns so that Big Brother can throw your family in internment camps with little resistance. :roll:

Has nothing at all to do with attempting to limit crime related possession of heavy weapons or reduce the insane body count relating to firearms ownership in the States. You guys are out of control down there.

well i dont agree with you and i live in a country where gun ownership isnt allowed as a rule

Take a look at Vancouver B.C. Canada! The gangs have overcome even the law enforcement. My point is that criminals will rarely enter a place they suspect may be armed. Lets teach proper gun handling prior to submission to the ones that don't follow the law. I believe in every persons right to defend themselves, regardless of the country of origin. The type and size of arms may be regulated by demonstrated ability to handle them! That should be the only regulation! P.S. I am a vet that fought for these rights!

You do realize that the military is ATLEAST fifty years ahead of the public in technology right? So tell me, if bif brother comes knocking at your door armed to the teeth for THEIR security, what that FUCK is a god damn handgun gonna do? The public should be armed JUST AS WELL as the military. Also, the types of rounds they are talking about aren't just for big guns, they are STANDARD caliber for hunting rifles as well! As for the crime related possession of heavy arms, the amount of crimes committed with these guns are FRACTIONAL compared to the amount of crimes committed with handguns.

Now for a little background ...

When I was a kid, I raced BMX. I always had expensive bikes because you rely on the bike to function properly and be able to bear any stresses it may endure on the track. In my neighborhood growing up, which was a small, elderly neighborhood, we always had things stolen. lawnmowers, bikes, bbq pits, hell even potted plants! We finally realized that if something was in one spot for 3 days, they were coming to get it. They figure the items have been forgotten about and won't notice it missing. Well, we did ... everytime! So me and my little brother stayed up one night to wait for em. When they came, we beat 6 kids to a bloody pulp with bats and hockey sticks. The ages ranged from 6-10, not much younger than we were. You know what, the bastards still came back! So the next time, we fired ONE SHOT .... ONE FUCKIN SHOT .... from a shotgun, and never had a problem with theft again.

Point being, for people who think that guns are so dangerous ... i tell you a baseball bat can be just as dangerous in the right hands, so can just about any object, but guns reign supreme. The very sound of a gun can instill fear in someone!

I live in the uk where not even the police have guns and guess what there is plenty of crime here including people being shot.

All weapons are dangerous when used wrongly,

The point of the second amendment is the ability to defend yourself, not only against dangerous criminals but also against tyranny.
After all what would be the point of bestowing the virtues of freedom if you have no means to fight for it.
