I've seen quite a few convincing videos of balls of light flying close to the ground like in this example.



I can honestly say that I've never really seen a lot of convincing footage of UFOs displaying anything other than points or balls of light. One might consider that a lot of the UFO sky footage is also displaying these same objects, in formation, creating the illusion of a large ship. Sure there may be ships flying around out there, but I'd bet a lot of the footage you see with geometric patterns or morphing lights could just be a number of these balls moving independently within a group.
