Glad to be of help, the trouble with certain hobby's are that equipment costs and second hand is hard to come by although in real terms photography and astronomical kit is cheaper and in many cases of better quality than of a few years ago :flop:

i'm using a canon fs 300 digital cam.it cost 218 buck at wallmart
41x optical
2000xdigital.i think i'm only using a thousand of that.
i didnt expect it to work so well with the stars and planets.total bonus, lol
i got it to film at twilight cause my regular cam needs a tripod once the light goes down.
at the moment i am having a hard time zeroing in on the less brighter objects in the sky.
its hard to see if your aimed right on the 3 inch screen, lol.
you gotta guess your aim and hope the cam pics up the light.

thanks for the sub smokey

Hey smokey! Quick question.....have you got a dew sheild and if so does work???

Cheers mate!

Good, point, yes they work well enough, they can be expensive, or use a makeshift one out of shiny card and rubber bands and tape a foot to 16 inches long does the trick :flop:
