An Egyptian panel is rushing through approval of a new constitution which is at the centre of a political crisis pitting Mohamed Morsi, the Islamist president, against several opposition parties. By late on Thursday afternoon, the constituent assembly, which has been boycotted by liberals and Christians, had approved almost one-fifth of 234 articles. The approvals include a unanimous decision to retain the principles of Islamic law as the main source of legislation. Al Jazeera's Hyder Abbasi reports.

Egyptian police fired tear gas at protesters amassed in Tahrir Square. But still the demonstrations against what is being seen as a dictator-like power grab by the President show no sign of ending. It's estimated 200-thousand people packed into Cairo's Tahrir Square, chanting against President Mohamed Morsi and his new powers.

Thanks.
It's hard to imagine this is a protest. Looks more like a carnival.
Now ask yourself, what would Iran do? Expect Egypt to do the same.

Have to say, the PCG was spot on when it came to prophetic prediction in regards to what would happen
in Egypt.
