The reason we have a blue sky is because of light refraction from water molecules in the atmosphere,planetologists have said that mars has water and part of its cycle is it releases the water from a frozen state on the polar caps and from underground,is mars heating up?.........is this the effect the sun's solar activities on mars?......we talk obviously about the solar effects on earth with all its CME's and the like,but what about the other inner planets?.
makes you wonder if the manned mars mission timeframe coincides with a point in mars's natural cycle where it would be less hostile or psychologically more pleasing for humans,water samples would be better all round for scientific studies for life chemistry..

The other side of course is that its not a cycle,but we are seeing mars being terraformed.

Jessica Samuels - I'd like to give her a Curiosity Rover Report.

I'd tap it.

Oh BTW, at the 0:12 mark and ONWARD, that's an animation. Unless of course we were already standing on Mars filming the drop ship dropping the Rover. Not.

:bang; :bang; :bang; :bang; :bang;

BUT...........

It WILL be interesting to see what the color shots produce (IF they release them).

Cheers

I'm not seeing the blue skies in those pictures, but...

On January 10, 2004, the Mars Rover science team unveiled some of the first true images of Mars showing a Blue Sky at a news conference at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

The colors in the main image are unmodified from those returned by the camera. While it is difficult to say whether this is what a human eye would see, it is what a cell phone or camcorder would record since the Mastcam takes color pictures in the exact same manner that consumer cameras acquire color images. The colors in a second version linked to the main image have been modified as if the scene were transported to Earth and illuminated by terrestrial sunlight. This processing, called "white balancing," is useful for scientists to be able to recognize and distinguish rocks by color in more familiar lighting.

I think this whole mission is an illuminati plan to stage disclosure and a "universal threat" because IT IS THE ONLY WAY martial law could happen...

JPL is gonna give up some big surprises soon about mars....

there is no doubt that flashed that pic for a reason
