Dear sir/Madam

I have been researching crop formations for a number of years and one of the biggest stumbling blocks when trying to show skeptics that the formations have been around for many, many years before the hoaxers, is the lack of aerial photographic proof before the wide spread use of heavy farm machinery.

I was wondering what the cost would be for a search of of your archives for any such prints and for copies to be made (preferably in PDF format). I know that is a photograph of the East Kennett long barrow with what appears to be two circles in the field adjacent, taken in 1953. I am predominately looking for such evidence pre-1960.

Your help in this matter is eagerly awaited and very appreciated.

Regards

Good luck mon ami :flop:

This has been posted before, but it's relevant.

Question: What does the image, above, show in the middle of the top field?

It may show two crop circles. The image was taken in 1953, and shows a field next to the East Kennett Long Barrow in Wiltshire (not to be confused with the better-known West Kennett barrow).

There is a reason for asking the question: If it is true that crop circles have always been appearing - as we believe - then shouldn't it be possible to demonstrate the existence of old circles by examining old aerial photographs?

Pretty tenuous...eh? or maybe not....

Not tenuous at all.. i have heard stories admittedly third and fourth hand that these things have been in the fields long before Doug and Dave. These are great finds and only strengthen the position that the hoaxers were only copying what was already a little known phenomenon. The hoaxers are good, but cannot claim that they started it off. :flop:

Bump for Iwanci: You ask for photographic evidence of crop circles in fields before the use of heavy farm machinery and tram lines. Here it is, I suspect you have seen it, and chosen to ignore it. Is it simply more evidence that you cannot accept because it does not conform to your stubborn position that all CCs are man-made?
