Qin Shi Huang

Died on the 10th September 210 BC

Qin Shi was the one who created the Terracotta Army or the "Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses", is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BC and whose purpose was to protect the emperor in his afterlife.

Why would he feel like he needed an army for the afterlife

During the Government of Wu, at the time of Sun Hsiu, generals used to leave their children along with their respective mothers as a token of loyalty.

One day, a strange little boy joined them in their play. He was less than 4 ft tall and dressed in black.
When questioned as to where he had come from, he said he had seen the children playing and had wanted to join them. Some of the children said that they noticed a strangeness about the the boys eyes, that they seemed to glow. They became scared of him, and when they asked him about his origins, he said -
" Do you fear me then? Don't, although I am not human, I am the star-god Yung-huo (Mars) and have come to deliver a message to you. The three lords will return to Ssu-ma".

This scared the children even more and upon realising this, the boy said "I must leave you" and transformed (into what I don't know) whilst rising into the sky. The children watched as he ascended leaving what appeared to be a train of silk behind him, at which point, the adults arrived to witness this and watch the boy gradually disappear from sight.

Based on - Vallee and Aubeck. 2009. "Wonders in the Sky"

As for what the message was, well ?????????
