Good post Toro.... but the topic title "this is the start" :think:

Maybe the start in the sense that it is more open to the publics eye now, (not that the sheeple see it though.... not yet at least)
But it has been happening for quiet some time that they are arresting people for possible crimes they did not commit yet.... and even worse, people are being arrested simply for thinking in a certain way! "1984 - Thought Crime"

i guess your right to a certain extant kingz but i stand behind my statement because for the simple fact that now its on the books and because of the patriot act of 2001

Homeland Security Wants Clearance to Fly Drones Over Texas

The federal government may soon send unmanned aircraft to scour West Texas and the state’s coastal waters in an effort to boost border security, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said in a letter to the governor sent Friday.

Perry had formally requested the assistance a week ago. The need also was underscored in a phone call that Democratic nominee Bill White had with Napolitano on Thursday.

Homeland Security has six drones and is working with the Federal Aviation Administration to get the necessary clearance to begin flying over Texas, Napolitano wrote.

Before operations start, ground control stations, pilots, sensor operators and maintenance support have to be allocated. She said that the governor would be kept apprised of the progress.

Believe it or not, the Department of Education is in the market for Remington shotguns. In the post below from FedBizzOps website, the government agency that came up with the idea of No Child Left Behind and is responsible for enforcing federal education laws announces it is in the market for twenty-seven Remington 870 Police shotguns.

The Remington 870 comes in several flavors, including a police “entry gun” with a 14 inch barrel (illegal for commoners) and a modular combat version. Remington also manufactures the 870MCS, described as a “breeching weapon” with a 10 inch barrel.

Is the Department of Education expecting problems or do they plan to selectively enforce government “education” (indoctrination) laws at gunpoint? Can you think of any other reason why government bureaucrats would need police shotguns?
