One for the UK audience.

I have been watching and enjoying the American Doomsday Preppers series.

Now this coming week in the UK we have our own version.

Preppers UK: Surviving Armageddon - Thursday 28th Nov - Nat Geo at 9 pm.

Will be very different from the US version.

We don't have large plots of land to build bunkers in and guns so it will be interesting to see how we would do it. :flop:

Nice one Richc, i've been wondering if any 'prepper' type documentary would be shown for us in the UK.

It'll be interesting if they only show people building bunkers on their multi-acre landed estates or show what can be done to prepare if you happen to live in or normal semi or even in a flat (as most people do here)

Guns are a problem...rather the lack of legal, or available guns are.

There only option for most of us seems to be either the illegal route (don't fancy dealing with those sorts tbh) for a gun(s), joining a gun club, or making do with bows, crossbows, knives and swords.

Honestly, i have often wondered how effective a slow loading crossbow is going to be against a gang of 10 organised people determined to get into your semi detached house, with the obvious vulnerabilities..like all the windows!

A well thrown brick...and we'd all be over run in a couple of minutes...scary thought with kids in the house...

I'll keep an eye open for the docu..cheers.
