Ok, just pretending if it was shot down, then it would have to be a satellite or airborne based weapon to hit from that angle. An aeroplane would not be able to get into position fast enough and a satellite would just be lucky to be in that position.

Lazer weapons are not yet strong enough and you would have seen it.

Currently the fasted gun on earth shoots at 10 miles a second and is 60 ft long (not very mobile).

That means it is 3300 times too slow to hit this meteorite from the back. That's quite a lot.

If the supposed Russian government had these weapons (probably projectile or lazer) and capabilities to stop it, doncha kinda think they would have shot it down earlier or intercepted it in deeper space?

Why can't the explanation given be justified?

Comets break up in the atmosphere because of speed, heat and density.

How do you know that ? You don't know every weapons system?? Yes you have listed unclassified weapons systems that our current tech, but that’s only a small part of what’s available, so how can you make that statement? In short you can't, just saying. You also state that you know the weapons specific operating limits

I don't know what the weapon was or what it's envelope of operation is and neither do you ,so I can’t say what they would have done .
