One of my wife's friends husband is dying right now from prostate cancer. I hate to say that, but it's the truth, he won't last another year. Such a kind and robust man, down now to under 150 pounds. At least he's at home. I wonder how I would approach this subject with him? His wife and my wife are very close, but I think they would both spazz completely out over the notion of using cannabis.

Because of laws you need to be very careful in how you present this info, here in Aust its the same as making heroin as is for oils.
Also if you present to much hope and they dont follow the proper protocol to finish it and then if they stay sick you may get blamed for the cancer finally killing them.
After making it once and trying to get dad to look at it before he died I am of the opinion of pointing them to the info and only that, let them make their own mind up and source it more. If they dont go further with it then it is on their heads and you have done your best. Belief systems and comfort zones kill people.
Its all well and good reading it on the net and seeing other folk do it there in vids, but when it comes home thats a different story.

No doubt Jag, I wouldn't suggest me doing anything. I would just hope that they could see that in circumstances such as this, not to let social stigma over marijuana outweigh the possibility of it positive effects on the illness.

Now there are more Doctors etc trying it with success on themselves and documenting the results making it easier to present the info to em and leave it there for them to choose. With the med cannabis laws in the states now surely one state would be worth a visit to buy some from a dispensary, its on my emergency list to look at if I dont have time or a place to grow it.

Ask your doctor before you try anything. A friend of mine who had prostate cancer decided to try something unconventional and it didn't work. My doctor supports the use of nutritional supplements like super beta prostate supplement. I've been using it for months and it has helped. I have a history of prostate cancer in my family so I go for a checkup at least once a year.

Yes but what ever supplements supplement they dont do the job the supplementing is only another misdirection.
My next big en devour is cannabis oils now I have the place, knowledge and means. Thanks for the ad it reminded me one thing leads to another and there is a reason for everything.
