Why are orbs of light in triangle formation repeatedly appearing over cities the world over?

What is the purpose? For these are not chance "sightings", they are intentional appearances. They want us to see them.

Why? Why not just come down and talk to us directly?

First contact is a very shocking thing. Perhaps they know it isn't best to force it upon us all at once. How would we react to ships unexpectedly descending upon the planet? How would the media react? How would the military react?

Pretty orbs of light in the sky are non-threatening. And it is not immediately obvious what they are. Yet they give us all the information we need to conclude that they are in fact extra-terrestrial in origin. But it is up to us to figure it out for ourselves.

And in the process of figuring it out, we have time to absorb the reality of it, to get over the shock and disbelief. Time to realize that these beings are nothing to fear.

Perhaps when enough of us come to realize this, and we welcome them in peace, then they will formally introduce themselves.

These visitors, our galactic neighbors, understand human psychology very well. They know what they are doing. We are not the first planet they have visited.

This is real. This is not a joke. Research the history of UFO sightings for yourselves. You will see that these orbs have been appearing for a long time. But never like this, with such frequency, clarity, and purpose. Something amazing is happening. We are being prepared for first contact.

Don't freak out. These are wise, benevolent beings. And it probably isn't just one race from one planet. It is most likely an alliance of civilizations cooperating to help our planet progress.

Meeting our galactic neighbors will be extremely good for us. It will expand our minds greatly and do so much to help us progress into a peaceful, environmentally sustainable society.

These beings also realize and understand the inherit racial ignorance, self-pride and violent nature of the human creature. Your race kills itself over the illusion of debt, fossilized dinosaur fuel, and the belief on a God that preaches love. Any intrusion into the human beings way of thinking results in either total acceptance or violent rejection which leads to war and death. Whats even worse is that your governments are run by men and women like I describes. Self-loathing parasites that believe their way of thinking is the only true and pure way of thinking.

Most likely these creatures are weighing the mental capabilities of the human race to determine if they are worth preserving or if it would be more rational to eradicate your species and allow nature to once again retake its evolutionary course. After all, your species was nothing more then the attempt to create a slave race to preform manual labor and mine precious and rare minerals. Why else does your race have a innate lust for gold and silver? In the end your race began to spread out of control like a rat infestation. But just like your own society there are those who view your race with intrigue, and like the lab rats you are, you are protected and used for extermination until your worth has expired.

But that shouldn't get your race down, after all your race uses less advanced species to advance your own medical and scientific knowledge. We are only doing to same. Your species peels the flesh from small creatures to create beauty products to make your pink flesh seem more appealing and yet you question cattle mutilations and abductions. In reality your species is a failed genetic product used for labor in a previous time, but unfortunately due to resources and political oppression your species was allowed to let nature determine your fate, despite the fact that you were never a natural part of that world. Even the most advanced societies have those with different viewpoints and soft spots for animals like humans.

And dont worry about us saving you. Those laughable flesh bags that claim they are here to save you are nothing more then experiments in cerebral reinforcement. Its amazing how simple it is to trick a shattered and primitive mind. The fact is we are still determining if your race would best be used for slave labor on one of our many mining worlds, or best eradicated and used for fertilizer for the growing planet. The majority wish to use you for slave labor, but your disobedient nature, the downfall of the first attempt, has our council skeptical. Most likely the ones with most potential will be weeded out, used for labor and mating to breed a strong and obedient race while the larger, and more husky of you, will be breed to create a larger and more docile food source for the workers.

I like the optimism, but I say proceed with caution.

I too can see the slow acclimatisation going on, and I hope that's all it is; But I can also see the stage being set for an almighty bluff.
If even half of the whistle-blowers stories are true, then a large percentage of the things seen have got to be made with our tax pounds/dollars/euros.
