Must mean it was actually a missile test launch...as they were common (although not recently, according to locals) in the large water body nearby (cant remember the name)

Hey Lowsix thats the Atlantic Ocean its all around Newfoundland, and there is not much military action happening on the island anymore most of the US personel are gone long ago, We are a jump point for fuel and supplies, last Piss Stop.

This one reminds me of the incident in Ottawa with something crashing into the river, several people heard the "boom". the area was closed off, i heard something about black vans and helicopters. One of us here from dtv had their camera taken by the pigs. The people were told nothing and within a mater of days it was as if the whole thing never happened. Something happened.

I would also assume that it was a missile test, looks like one to me.

but the ottawa thing comes to mind because of the way the information is obviously being held back and the people know fuck all about it....

probably some fast moving wind currents that have some odd shaped clouds within them, and the angle of the suns rays shinning off an oil tanker 400kms away created a rocket-looking super fast wind cloud that shot across the sky and the smoke was thinning cloud being left behind the main cloud and......yeah

I'll agree that this object does not look like something that can be ordinarily explained away, however, I must consider that an advanced race has most likely done away with any type of fuel burning propulsion. This looks as if there's an exhaust or heat trail exiting from its back.

It suggests at the very least something that can be explained outside the realm of an alien craft.

It kind of looks like a missile to me... However, I am not an expert, obviously!

Officials look at report of mysterious object in sky over N.L. south coast

HARBOUR MILLE, N.L. - The RCMP and federal officials weren't saying much Wednesday about the reported sighting earlier this week of mysterious missile-like objects in the sky off southern Newfoundland.
Darlene Stewart of Harbour Mille said she was outside taking pictures of the sunset Monday when she saw something fly overhead.
Her picture shows a blurry image of what appears to be a missile-shaped object trailing flames or smoke.


She said she and neighbours saw another three similar objects flying offshore minutes apart.


David Charbonneau, a spokesman for Public Safety Canada, said in an email that the federal government was "aware of media reports of public sightings of unidentified objects" off Newfoundland but said the RCMP was investigating.


The RCMP, however, disputed that and referred all comment back to Public Safety Canada.


Helen Cleary-Escott, an RCMP spokeswoman, said there is no debris or any other evidence that would allow the Mounties to investigate the matter.
VOCM radio in St. John's, N.L., citing a French news agency report, said that France had successfully test-fired its new M51 strategic missile from a nuclear submarine in the Atlantic Ocean.
AFP reported that France's newest strategic nuclear submarine "Le Terrible" launched the test at 9:25 am (local time) from the Audierne Bay in the Atlantic. The M51 has a range of 8,000 kilometres.
Capt. Kendrah Allison, a spokesperson for the Department of National Defence, said the military was aware of the reported sightings but wasn't aware of any missile testing in the area.
