That's a trip, Greer is 10 minutes from here and I never heard about it in the papers.

I remember when Gina Jones had a bizarre encounter in the 1980s and it was picked up by national news. That happened in Mauldin, which is all in Greenville county.

I was out in the garden on Saturday night (24th August) when I saw a very bright, orange light moving at a steady pace from the southwest. The light was constant, not blinking as I would expect from aircraft navigation lights.

The height, I would guess, was about what a helicopter would fly at, but there was absolutely no noise.

Because it seemed strange, I called to my husband to take a look. He agreed that it didn't look like a normal aircraft. We watched for about a minute until it disappeared over the horizon to the North.

Almost immediately another one appeared from the southwest and followed the same course. At this point I got my camera and photographed it.

When the second object was out of sight, a third appeared which traveled in a northwest direction. Whilst in the centre of my vision, the bright, orange light suddenly went out.

However, I could still see the object as a very bright, white light in my camera viewfinder.

Three more of the objects followed, one at a time, over the next 10 minutes or so. I photographed each one, but peculiarly with one of them, I could only see it on my camera viewfinder when I turned my camera at right angles to the object.

When I pointed the camera directly at it, it did not appear on the screen at all. I continued to watch the sky until about 11.30, but there were no morelights after about 11.15 pm.
