my mainline phone is on the no marketing calls list and i still get unsolicited calls
not many though .... maybe its because i am very abusive to these marketers

i just ignored it as it was in june lol.i dont get any funny calls on landline and have pay n go mobil phone second hand and not in my name,job done lol

Dude does that stop debt collectors getting ya mobile number too?
I used to get a call every few days from different debt collectors on my mobile (yeah yeah I'm a bit of a naughty boy lol).

Its worth trying it, my m8 just pretends he doesnt speak english when he gets those calls .

Yeah I used to do the same thing lol.
My favorite was 'elloh pliz yes,what? no soree dis iss abdool' lol

I have enough trouble with vodaphone and virgin lol, ive heard a few people complaining about tiscali about waiting times on the phone and stuff like that.

Well I can stand waiting,I can stand bad communication skills,but what I cant stand is being stuck on hold only to have them hang up on me,also what I cant stand is the way they seem to lose my payments,it has so far taken them 3 weeks to find a £50 payment that I paid in to their bank account lol

I have those exact problems with virgin and my broadband, they keep turning it off a day before they take the payment out of my bank then they turn it back on the following day, im forever complaining to them about it, there real bad for hanging up on me aswell, i can say this for virgin though i have had a few months free connection as an apology(once.)

Virgin media can be quite easy to manipulate if you take the right approach,in the past I have found threatening to go elsewhere works pretty dam well.
The thing is though virgin media are quite a good provider,so why the hell ruin their reputation by taking their call center to india,I understand the cheap labour thing but to be honest the biggest turn off for possible customers (and some very pissed off current ones) is this call center malarky,which is going to reflect a downturn in business.
