Rodney King Found Dead.

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Rodney King, whose beating by Los Angeles police in 1991 was caught on camera and sparked riots after the acquittal of the four officers involved, was found dead in his swimming pool Sunday, authorities and his fiancee confirmed. He was 47.

Rest in peace, Mr. King. Riots changed Los Angeles permanently, I was living in East Hollywood at the time, fires all around, looting and what not. I can also remember military vehicles cruising down Sunset Blvd as I walked to work. It was a very surreal experience.
