Oh brother. I knew somewhere, someone would claim something like this...

Russia’s Liberal Party: "no meteorites, it's new US weapons test"
February 15, 2013 - The leader of Russia’s Liberal Democratic Party and vice speaker of the State Duma Vladimir Zhirinovsky accused on Friday the United States of testing new weapons over Russia immediately after reports of a meteorite explosion appeared.
“There have been no meteorites. It was a new American weapons test,” Zhirinovsky said.
“(US State Secretary) John Kerry tried warning (Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov) on Monday, but failed,” Zhirinovsky said, obviously referring to reports that Lavrov on a visit to Africa had failed to answer Kerry’s repeated phone calls.

Nice bit of Russian propaganda there....
Would be an excellent opportunity to carry out any tests though, blame it on DA14.

WELCOME TO THE D.D.C
DiscloseTV Doomtards Club
Just caught the early morning news (UK) and it's reporting 400 people injured in these Meteorite explosions.
It also mentioned that 'near miss' asteroid 2012 DA14, will skim past earth by some 28,000 miles.
I know we have lots of space experts here on DTV, and could they tell me if these meteorites collide with the asteroid, it will still skim past us, and not be knocked off course into the earth?
Thanks.
Anyone?

I think it's coming as close as 17,500 miles. If that small meteor had impacted the asteroid head on. It wouldn't have much difference to it's flight path. It's all about mass. It would be like a fly hitting the windscreen of your car....NO CONTEST...
I question everything. I don't believe anything I'm told or anything I see. Prove it, or fuck off. And that's not me I see in the mirror in the morning.

In the movies (yes I realized how asinine this sounds) the "big asteroid" is usually preceded by smaller ones..... Just sayin...Everyone PANIC!!!!
And do the banana dance!!!:

I would guess that the smaller meteors are travelling in the same direction as the larger one.
88.5 % Of statistics are made up on the spot.Vic Reeves.
In this case it was not. It came from a different direct to the flight path of the big one. If the asteroid was impacted with a large number of small lumps of rock. Then it may have nudged it from it's current orbital path. But this would have to happen millions of miles out. Where a small nudge would make a big difference.
