Re: The Observer view on why you should vote Labour

I think that the grander complexities of global politics and its connotations with a new world order, are secondary to the concerns of many people in Britain. In short: No-one gives a shit. Sad as that is, it's the truth and something that should be acknowledged. So when people say "lesser of t...

Re: Quantum Vacuum Warp Engine Confirmed. UKSS. Mayflower

It would take around 12 days to reach the nearest star system using a warp propulsion FTL drive.

If enough money is thrown at this, I would say with some confidence that it will take no more than a decade to get a workable prototype built and tested. Then the fun begins.

Re: The Observer view on why you should vote Labour

New Labour is the prime reason why Britain is run by an elitist elite. Not even Thatcher transferred so much public money in private hands, thus cementing the power base of the rich. America's Pacific focus

For the past few decades, American foreign policy has been exclusively aimed at the Middle East. The war against Terrorism after 911 became the bedrock of all future American foreign policy aims. But the past three years have seen a dramatic shift away from the Middle East as a consequence of China'...

Re: Nick Clegg bets £50 on staying on as Deputy PM

His party will be virtually annihilated next week. They have probably less than 7% of the national vote; and they don't have any 'safe' seats anymore.

I just hope UKIP get a few more MP's. That would upset the apple-cart a bit.
