They ban whole ISP blocks sometimes. If you're using a particular provider in a certain area often times that's already been banned.
Happened to me too, first time I tried to post there I found I was banned. A friend took care of it for me, but I really only go there for one reason now.

The way I see it- no matter how you cut it, any war is a war against ourselves. Ok, WWII for example was more black and white than most being the forces of good vs those of evil.
