Re: ISIS For DummIeS (°_o)

The problem isn't whether the videos are fake, or if ISIS is funded by western intelligence agencies. The problem is that even on the disclose.tv forums, a place that you would expect to be a hotbed of conflicting and contrarian opinions, the overwhelming consensus is that military intervention is t...

Re: The reality of anomalies is an eye opener.

History may judge that government has failed by denying the UFO phenomenon and studying it in secret, but today, we that we don't know why they've done that. Disclosure will almost certainly bring better explanations for their actions than the usual "people can't handle it" bullshit.

Re: British Jihadists in Syria Want Safe Return home

The Wall Street Journal reports that U.S. officials are struggling to ascertain the movements of suspected extremists once they enter certain European countries. The gaps are occurring despite the fact that the U.S. and several European security services have developed close intelligence links, wit...

Re: The Yazidis,Satan and Gobekli Tepe

Interesting article., especially the Gobekli Tepe connection. Like a lot of people, I'd never even heard of these folks until ISIS started butchering them. I got curious and did a little reading about them. My understanding is that the Yazidi themselves don't regard Melek Taus and Satan to be the sa...

Re: Asteroid fragment blows huge hole in Nicaraguan capital

I'm not just being contrarian here. On a planetary scale(which is the only logical way to look at it, IMO), the odds of meteors landing in populated areas are extremely low. This one landed in the Managua metropolitan area, between the international airport and an airforce base. That's the second on...

Managua is a city of around 2.4 million people, hardly the middle of nowhere.

Is chuckiing space rocks the new gunboat diplomacy?

I'll put my hand up from the start and say that I have no proof for any of this, it's pure speculation, but I'm not the first one to notice this phenomenon in the last 18 months. Firstly, we've had numerous countries, international organizations (including the UN), scientists and politicians talking...

Re: Ruins of Ancient City Discovered in Australian Desert

Sorry boys, I would absolutely love for this story to be true, but alas, there is no Professor Walter Reese at ANU, and the pictures from the article come from sites in South Africa and the Sudan. The golden bowl is from the Mapungubwe collection in Pretoria(home of the famous Blue Bulls rugby team)...

Re: Morgan Freeman tells it like it is...

This is why great players rarely make for great coaches.

They simply can't understand that other people weren't born with the genetic gifts they were.

Morgan Freeman was talented and hard working and lucky enough to get out of poverty. Many others are not.

THAT is how it is.

Re: British Jihadists in Syria Want Safe Return home

The problem here is that it's all about fear. Logic, history and the rule of law are being thrown out the window by governments, and the people are going along with it because let's face it, you wouldn't want one of these ISIS lunatics moving in next door. Government and media act like this is a new...
