Just saw on FOX that their reporter said 6 feet, maybe he meant meters. Some alert just went out.

Edited to say: Their scroller says a 10 foot wave has been spotted off the coast.

can confirm it, watching sky news now. what happened? was there another quake?

also i keep reading that this is the build up to the 'big' one that japan fears...what do you think about that?

also, is there any chance japan could be destroyed and sink due to these quakes?

I feel so sorry for them.

They are saying they expect more powerful aftershocks.

This could go on for weeks.

FOX is showing a live report and a reporter showing the fire trucks shouting the alarms and reporting the wave has been spotted. Boats are going out to sea and helicopters can be seen in the distance. Said he didn't feel an earthquake.

FOX also just said that Sky news is saying it may of been caused by a landslide. Sounds like they don't know what happened but they think they see something heading their way.
