I do agree that it needs to start off peacefully. But we all know that the cops and military will surely get involved shortly after the begining. Therefore, I believe that the people need to be prepared to protect themselves from thier onslought of tear gas, rubber bullets, batons and, at one point even real bullets...the government will not go down without a fight and they will kill people in thier defence.....so leave the SMALL children at home, and bring all the roudy teens capable of fighting instead
Here is a list of things that people may need to have handy....just a suggestion.......
1. Gas Masks....Wearing masks is a great idea...so instead of a holloween mask or such, trade it in for a gas mask. If you cant get a gas mask, at least get a charcoal filtered respirator (used in spray painting) and a pair of goggles. The spray paint mask may not hold up as long as a gas mask, but it will protect you for a time and maybe get a few extra filters you can swap out quickly when the old filters become clogged.
2. Flak Jackets....I know not everyone can get a bullet proof jacket, so, if no jacket can be bought, wear mutiple layers clothes and pad your chest with foam padding or pillows. The padding won't stop a bullet, but it will lighten the impact of rubber bullets and keep you on your feet.
3. Helmets....Motorcycle, football (american football), any kind of helmet that will stand up to a bout with a baton. Other sports garmets like shin gaurds, elbow pads, gloves ect...would be helpfull.
4. Ear Plugs....for those peskey sonic weapons they may use to disorientate you with.
5. I hate to say it....but "they" will eventually use deadly force....Ones needs to be able to defend themselves and fight back....Concealed weapons will may be a safe bet...if you cant get a gun, get a big knife/sword and go old school on'em....mautove cocktails are cool too....
6. Bakcpack....put everything you can in it to conceal it from plain sight.....but be ready to break it all out when the shit hits the fan...
Wear the padding and sports padding under your clothes...baggy pants will conceal shin gaurds, and big coats/jackets will cover most anything else...
Call me paranoid...call me stupid...call me just plain crazy
I'm not afraid to die for a just cause, but I'd protect myself in such a way that I may stay in the fight for as long as possible and not be taken out in the first round...no sence in walking strait into a bullet or trying to break through a line of riot cops unprotected...
