you could try reading a synopsis of the bible, or the most famous parts (synoptic gospels (mathew mark luke and john), and the book of revelation). Of course, you are free to worship the creator as you so choose, it just so happens that the greatest philosopher who lived reportedly had a vision of the cross, and also described perfectly what we need to make the next life somewhat imagineable (plato, i mean, of whom alfred north whitehead said: essentially, all western philosophy is but a foot note to plato).., check out defense of socrates, gorgias, republic, and so on. You do have a soul, you should value it above your body, or any lusts you can satisfy by new age witchcraft mumbo jumbo (although it is of course your choice, but please, know what you are doing!)

Maybe this shadow person is some kind of projection coming from something going on with your sister in her emotional or biophysical world and she is somehow projecting it as an outside villain.

Often when a person has internal turmoil and it can be too "big" or "suppressed" to be recognized through the minds usual avenues and people can create an experience outside of the internal realm to get the attention of something that needs attended to in order to free that person from the bondage they have created behind the "energy".

Shadow people is giving power to something outside of ourselves..................

Most times we bring to ourselves in some way or another an opportunity to take a closer look at the most recent boundery we have set for our self, our energy blockage.

The Shadow Person that your sister experienced as something trying to kill her may be some kind of memory that is moving up from her lower centers into her higher so that it can be loved and healed and integrated..............

Extreme measures are often needed to get the attention of something that is no longer willing to remain hidden.

I know at one time when I was doing some kind of therapy and I talked of something that I had repressed so long that I actually felt a physical something move up from my stomach and almost choked my throat as I cried/choked and released it.

But my point is that energy that we store and lock away never leaves us until we give it validation and love it back into ourselves and thank this energy form for being what we needed it to be when we could not in our awareness deal with shit........

Sorry...........I went way to far into a rant with this...........

I just know that shadow being by their nature are lost and need the reconnection with that which made it...........

Most are seeing this as separate from you sister.........My instincts tell me it is a projection of your sisters inner confusion allowing her an opportunity to heal something..........

I don't know what happened, the only thing that I remember is that something crawled over me and made strange sounds, and I was eleven, I didn't ask for anything..I was always interested in paranormal stuff, but at that age I didn't dig that deep, as you can imagine..
Now I'm 21, and my philosophy is not to close my eyes to anything..after a little bit of research about history of mankind, it became pretty clear, that religion as we know it today is a manmade thing, and entities like the devil were/are the personification of everything the church did reject because of lack of understanding and to suppress individualism and the expansion of human consciousness..I don't see anything wrong about eating the fruit from the tree of life and the tree of knowledge..and if somebody calls me a satan worshipper because I like to rebell against the religion dogma, so be it
I feel the closest to so called witches or pagans..intuned with nature, the universe and energy..all living beings..understanding the cycle of life ..and embracing our connection with the animal world, our instincts..mastering spirtual engery ..knowing about how to use your thoughts..no good or evil..everything just IS...
That how it was before religion, and that's what feels natural for me...

Whatever a person may feel about religion, I do believe there are beings whatever you may call them that are good & evil. Whether you call them angels, devils, or good & bad aliens, those beings exist and religions were made or developed around that phenominon.

She doesn't have anything like that but her husband is Jewish and he has all these things he hangs up all over the place that are supposed to be blessings or prayers I guess. Don't seem to be working! When I stayed there he told me "fuck you and your God"- I'm a Christian. He doesn't realize we hae the same God? Maybe thats why this stuff happens.

And no offense.........I have used sage myself.

But how much of these practices use the power of the mind, the belief in the effectiveness of said tool.............versus the tool itself.

Is the sage protecting little red riding hood or her belief in her taking control and burning something she believes has the power to dismiss this "shadow being"

If this being wanted to choke and kill the person would be dead,,, NO?

But that wasn't what happened.............the person felt like she was being choked, woke up and the shadow left............Why didn't it kill her then if it could?

YES, I have..I didn't read the whole thing, but what I did read is now full of side notes, although I read it in another way than Christians do, I search for hints that reveal the original meaning, that means before it was translated and manipulated

"Lucifer" is the bearer of light, the one who brings enlightment, a roman god..back then there was no christianity and no devil, the association with the name Lucifer changed a lot later..

I know ..or I believe, that the ones who are in power belong to secret societies..why they use lucifers name has it's origin in the brotherhood of the snake, which was originaly an organisation who wanted to free humankind from it's oppressors, the false gods..but then became corrupt and everything was turned upside down

sticks, stones and spirits are a part of everything that exist, when you look into quantum physics you see that ...we are litterally all connected, appreciating everything that is as a part of existence and loving it..not worshipping it

you mean by loving nature, the universe and all living beings and connecting to our collective consciousness is not direct communication, but there is a seperate being that doesn't belong to all we see, hear and feel everyday?

witchcraft is nothing more than mastering the power of the mind and the soul for me, it is not paranormal, it's physics..at least that's where I'm at ..in this moment ..on my personal journey :wink:
