Should You Prepare To Survive 2012?

From abnormal weather, earth changes and other increased anomalies to comet elenin and the infamous Mayan prophecies, the internet is buzzing with millions doomsday scenarios. While I doubt that anything will actually happen to the world as a result of 2012, I do think it’s wise to be prepared for whatever may be coming.

Does December 21, 2012 spell disaster for the world?

Again, I really don’t buy into the whole Mayan thing, but there are a couple of reasons that 2012 could be a scary year.

1. A self fulfilling prophecy – One thing that worries me about all the 2012 talk is the possibility that it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. With all the bad things going on in the world you almost have to wonder if we’ve brought some of it upon ourselves.

2. Wackos, nut jobs, and hooligans – As we get closer to the December 21, 2012 date we are bound to have an uptick in craziness. The closer we get to that date, the more people will start to blame every little anomaly on the “end of the world.” When that starts to happen a certain segment of our population could start to act out and become a threat to your survival.

You need to be prepared to protect yourself and your family from the possible dangers that lie ahead.

3. Crazy weather patterns and earth changes – A number of prominent scientists have suggested that disruptions in the solar cycle have already started to wreak havoc on the earth. While they are only theories at this point, many have blamed the earthquake in Japan and New Zealand on an increase in solar activity.

If these theories are correct, we could be in for a very chaotic couple of years. The solar cycle is expected to peak sometime towards the end of 2012.

3. Solar flares – The increase solar activity also means that we are at a greater risk of being affected by a damaging solar flare. Earlier this years NASA released a warning that said a direct hit could cause massive widespread blackouts, travel problems and damage that could effect the power grids for months.

Solar Flares have created problems in the past and a direct hit by a large solar flare could completely shut down the power grid. If the power grid goes down will you be ready?

4. An economy in turmoil – It seems like every time I hear the news someone ‘exert” is spouting off about how bad the economy is. From a double dip recession to fears of another great depression the economy poses a number of challenges that could cause major problems in 2012.

If we were to be plunged into another depression, I doubt that our current culture could handle the shock. Americans have become so accustomed to getting everything they want that should a crisis like that were to occur the effect on our current society would be catastrophic. Within very short order I would expect to see massive rioting a huge spike in violent crimes and a rash of burglaries.

5. Political Armageddon – We are living in turbulent times. The election of 2012 has many worried and could be another potential trigger point that causes massive social unrest. From fanatical extremists who are bound to riot if Obama loses, to overzealous wackos who may go nuts if he wins, the election of 2012 is another big cause for concern.

When you see the chaos going on throughout the Middle East and Europe, I don’t think it’s that far fetched to think it could happen here. Just look at the massive protests in Wisconsin and other parts of the country during the last couple of months. People are on edge and political partisanship is only making things worse.

So what does 2012 have in store for us?

I think the earthquake, tsunami and resulting nuclear disaster in Japan woke a lot of people up to how quickly things can go bad.

Only time will tell, but if you haven’t started prepping for what’s ahead your time may be quickly running out. Remember, bad things can happen at any minute and even if you don’t buy into the whole 2012 Armageddon thing you should be prepared anyways.

You never know what the next disaster will be, where it will hit and when it will happen. I advice you adopt the old Boy Scouts motto and always be prepared!

either way plan for the worse ,,what harm can it do ,then if the shit hits the fan ,your prepared for it, without relieing on someone else to bail you and your family out ,,,you may get called a nut job for planning and preparing now ,,,but those that called you a nut job will be the first ones asking for help

Why be prepared? If it's 'total armageddon' then what is the point of survival? That particular scenario would be utter hell to the survivors. I'd rather go out like a light, then live a live of utter sufferance. Now that would be hell!

very important to get prepared for the next 2-5 years..
will civil unrest, nuclear armed countries bidding for the new power grip..shit will prob hit the fan in one way or another..
natural disaters are on the uprise at an alarming rate with alarming sterengths..
super storms, perfect storms and solar storms are going to woop us good over the next few years..

now lets touch on astronomical signs and chaos..
its becoming obvious with the entire world that somethings on the way..
but its no comet lol
although, a large gravity well on a comet could be playing hell on the earth.my research tells me its not elenin..but something in that direction..

why is the earth freakin the hell out? the sun? why the sudden awakening of billions at the same time? the answer is Tyche.. :peep:

NASA has now admited to it several times..recently and past..its what we know as planet x..
its in the orit cloud ..heading right towards us..getting larger each year but not changing possitions according to the south pole tele and the good folks that have leaked actual photos of it..NASA has admited it is 4 x's the size of jupiter and has 2 earthlike masses iorbiting it along with 3 other orbiting planets of gas and or carbon..
the evidence in my little world is getting thick , really thick..
from past records, to ancient symbolism, to the money of ancient greece to todays swiss banknotes..
there is sooo much pointing to this ..
the planet of the crossing..thats why everyone is freakin out about these comets comming..elenin is..just a comet, sorry..but there are a large increase on srtange orbiting comets now..comming from were? orit cloud..starting to fall into place yet? it will..i have a detailed thread comming soon..as this unfolds i have found a letter or two leaked and photos about tyche..nasa intel..etc..its comming..you can feel it in the air it seems ..

because there is no such thing..
we adapt just like everything else in history..
science has proven that this earth has held life at any time , during chaos or not..
prepared is the way to be..if shit does happen it will be a mass panic, fighting over stores food, looting, etc..just chaos..why deal with it when you could simply drive by..prepared already and not having to stop and possibly get killed for a can of beans?

If its survibable,even for a few days,i would love to watch it...maybe im fucked up but i think those 2 or 3 days of life would bring the most enlightening reflexion....worth dying for...

Do you know what going to happen in 2012? .NOTHING. Do u know why i know this ? because its all hyped up bullshit. The end of the world rant has been going on for a millenia and still mother earth just ticks on by . I will prepare for 2012 by getting ready to type to all you idiots a big fat I TOLD YOU SO HA HA HA , but one question I will ask what will you do on the 22/12/2012 ? hopefully really think about your lives and start being a liitle more productive, The end of the world will come but I bet you a 1000 none of us will be alive when it does.
