According to the team around Baumgartner he is about to drink a smoothie before he put on the suit and get ready for takeoff. The last day he has remained on a special diet. According to the medicalteam round daredevil, he must stick to a lowfiberdiet. It is important that he eats food that passes through the system quickly and does not build up gasses. This can cause problems because they can expand in the body because of the low pressure atmosphere.

I don't get that. Wouldn't his suit be pressurized (self-contained environment) to atmospheric pressure, and therefore his skin and internal organs and internal gases would be under the same pressure? Or are they concerned in the case of a pressure leak (A just in case scenario) ?
